In March 2020,the CENTRAL Committee of the COMMUNIST Party of China and The State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era,which systematically designed and made comprehensive arrangements for the construction of an education system for the comprehensive cultivation of morality,intelligence,physical education,the United States and labor,and explicitly proposed to improve the evaluation system for labor literacy.Under the background of the new era,it is urgent to establish and perfect the evaluation system of students’ labor literacy to strengthen labor education,promote the high-quality development of labor education and improve the stubborn disease of "only score" education evaluation.Primary school is the key stage to cultivate students’ correct labor concept and good labor habits,so it is very necessary and important to develop and strengthen primary school labor education.The evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy is an important means and way to guide,diagnose,improve and promote primary school labor education.To carry out primary school labor education and promote the quality of primary school labor education,it is necessary to actively examine the practical problems of primary school students’ labor literacy evaluation and improve the research strength of primary school students’ labor literacy evaluation.The evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy is aimed at cultivating primary school students’ labor literacy,comprehensively using a variety of scientific and effective methods,to evaluate primary school students’ labor concepts,labor ability,labor spirit,labor habits,labor quality and other aspects of labor education and teaching activities.Marxist labor theory and developmental student evaluation theory provide theoretical basis for elementary school students’ labor literacy evaluation and point out the direction of developing elementary school students’ labor literacy evaluation.Under the premise of this theory,the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy should "highlight the purpose of taking students as the foundation" and adhere to the evaluation concept of development,process,practice and reflection.The evaluation subject should focus on the perspective of "multi-subject",with students,teachers and parents as the main evaluation subject;In the evaluation content,we should pay attention to the orientation of "multiple openness",and determine the evaluation content reasonably around the implementation way of school labor education,the main types of labor education,and the basic composition of primary school students’ labor accomplishment.In the evaluation method,we should adhere to the combination of quantity and quality,and advocate the effective use of portfolio evaluation,performance evaluation and labor literacy evaluation.The presentation and use of evaluation results should have the function of "education and selection",advocate the comprehensive use of evaluation,grade and score to present the evaluation results,and use the evaluation results to promote the development of primary school students’ labor literacy,teachers to improve education and teaching,school evaluation and award first,and schools to solve the problems of labor education.On the basis of the theoretical discussion,this study through the questionnaire and interview method to understand the current primary school labor literacy evaluation reality.The survey found: In the practice of policies and school-based teacher for primary school students labor accomplishment evaluation has certain understanding foundation,the school based on experience formed some pupils work quality evaluation,the basic approach and develop curriculum resources and activities provide gripper for labor accomplishment evaluation,at the same time,some schools also designed a variety of evaluation tools to enrich the carrier of labor quality evaluation.Although these practical explorations have promoted the development of primary school students’ labor literacy to a certain extent,there are still many problems in the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy,such as laying emphasis on teachers’ evaluation and ignoring primary school students’ self-evaluation.Pay more attention to the evaluation of labor knowledge and skills,ignore the evaluation of labor attitudes and values;Emphasis on the selection of quantitative methods,ignoring the use of qualitative methods;Emphasis on formal participation,neglect process evaluation;Emphasis on the evaluation of labor achievements,neglect the value of educational results.The reason is mainly due to the deviation in the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy;The influence of traditional examination culture and educational evaluation concept;The weak research on the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy;The lack of standardized labor literacy evaluation system;It is caused by many factors,such as the lack of evaluation accomplishment and research ability of primary school teachers.In order to quickly solve the problems existing in the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy and boost the effective implementation of the evaluation,this study considers the following five suggestions: first,strengthen the theoretical research on the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy and establish the ideological concept of evaluating and educating people;Secondly,expand the scope of the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy and construct an open and diversified evaluation index system;Third,endow elementary school students with the right and status of labor literacy evaluation,improve the evaluation literacy of teachers;Fourthly,improve the procedures and methods of the evaluation of primary school students’ labor literacy,give play to the advantages of information technology evaluation;Fifth,establish the system of primary school students’ labor literacy evaluation,and develop evaluation programs according to school conditions. |
