| The Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden of students in Compulsory Education Stage clearly put forward that “deepen the governance of off-campus training institutions,build a good education ecology,relieve parents’ anxiety,and promote the all-round development of students”.As one of the target groups of the “double reduction” policy,parents have been successively issued the “Family Education Promotion Law of the People’s Republic of China” to guide the rational development of family education under the background of the “double reduction” policy.The“double reduction” policy requires parents to play a new role according to the new field needs.The role played by parents before the “double reduction” policy is no longer in line with the requirements of the new policy.Therefore,parents should keep pace with The Times to learn the new education concept,change the backward education methods,improve the education ability to change their old roles.This study attempts to discuss the transition of parents’ role under the background of “double reduction” policy from the perspective of adult education,in order to provide useful enlightenment for the transition of parents’ role under the background of “double reduction”.First of all,under the background of the new education policy,parents need to abandon some old roles and play some new roles to meet the requirements of the education reform.Due to the expansion of shadow education,various cram school and training institutions have a profound impact on the education ecology of Guangxi rural areas.Based on this,this study tries to focus on rural communities,take rural community parents as the research object,and conduct field interviews on the cognition of the policy,role awareness,role orientation and role ability of rural community parents in L rural community in B City,Guangxi,so as to understand the real role of rural community parents under the background of “double reduction” policy.It is found that parents in rural communities play the roles of irrational people,pseudo educators and outsiders under the background of “double reduction”.Secondly,in view of the real role played by parents as irrational person,pseudo educator and outsider under the background of “double reduction” policy,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons for the role transformation of parents under the background of “double reduction” policy.According to the practical needs of parents’ education,it believes that the role of parents under the background of “double reduction” should be changed from the real role to the following role: Parents should be rational in family field,school field and education consumption field.Parents should be learners in the field of self-growth and development;Parents should be considered in the policy and law making process.Then,through field observation and interview,it is found that the reasons for the difficult role transition of parents in rural communities are parents’ cognitive bias,parents’ lack of information literacy,lack of learning atmosphere,and lack of support from relevant mechanisms and systems.Finally,in view of the summarized problems,under the guidance of Smith’s policy implementation theory,role theory and adult learning theory,from the perspective of adult education,the author puts forward the countermeasures of parental role transformation under the background of “double reduction” policy: Parents learn the content of “double reduction”policy,learn to understand themselves,learn educational knowledge,improve the ability of educational rationality to promote themselves from the role of irrational to rational role;With the help of external platform school lectures,township libraries and parents’ schools,parents’ information literacy ability can be improved,to create good family learning atmospheres and social learning culture atmospheres,so as to provide parents with a good learning environment to promote parents to change from the role of pseudo educators to the role of learners;Adult education legislation,improve the family education guidance service system,provide educational technology support,so as to provide legal protection,institutional support and technical support for the role transformation of parents to promote parents from the role of outsiders to the role of insiders. |
