| Since July 2021,the "Opinions on Further Reducing the Workload Burden of Students in Compulsory Education and the Burden of Off-campus training"(referred to as the "double reduction" policy)was promulgated and implemented,enterprises in China’s education and training industry are facing difficulties such as business contraction,transformation,suspension of business,and even bankruptcy due to the rupture of cash flow.How do enterprises in the education and training sector respond to changes in macro policies and the market? How to make,implement and sustain strategic transformation? Taking XDF Company as a case,this paper analyzes the process of its strategic transformation through the thoughts of analysis,selection,implementation and testing.In the analysis stage,PESTEL analysis and Porter’s "Five Forces model" are used to analyze the current situation of the case and the external and internal factors involved in the strategic transformation.Applying the conceptual framework of strategic transformation to explore the impact of the "double reduction" policy through the restructuring of resources and other key elements and the choice of path,it is found that the transformation content and path of the case enterprise can be determined based on the business level,the company level,the functional level,etc.,and the risk control system designed and applied in the implementation stage of strategic transformation.Finally,financial performance is used to test the performance of strategic transformation and to judge the success of strategic transformation.By studying the development trend of the industry and the changing trend of the external environment,this paper analyzes the bargaining power of suppliers and buyers,the threat of substitutes and competitive advantages of the case companies,so as to analyze and understand the competitive advantages of the case education and training enterprises.This paper studies the strategy and transformation path of its diversified strategy transformation to quality education,vocational education,diversified talent cultivation,education informatization and intelligent hardware application space improvement,so as to realize how to achieve the goal of sustainable development under the severe impact of external policy environment and market environment.This study has certain enlightenment and reference significance for the education and training industry and enterprise operators and practitioners to effectively cope with policy fluctuations,market changes and competitive environment changes through strategic transformation. |
