Parents are the off-campus enforcers of school policies.The implementation of "double reduction" policy needs parents’ active participation in order to consolidate the implementation.In the work of "double reduction",the school should obtain the support and cooperation of parents to jointly create a harmonious learning space for students.In addition to cooperating with the implementation of the school policy,parents should take the responsibility of family education,deeply understand the purpose and significance of the implementation of "double reduction" policy for the healthy growth of students,and fully implement the task of "double reduction".Therefore,the analysis of parents’ cognition of the "double reduction" policy plays a positive role in promoting the effective implementation of the "double reduction" policy.Based on a questionnaire survey of 353 parents of compulsory education students and interviews with 10 parents and 8 teachers,it is found that there are some problems in parents’ cognition of the "double reduction" policy,which mainly include: Parents’ cognition of the "double reduction" policy is insufficient,and there are cognitive biases and dissonance problems in the cognition of the policy,thus limiting the full implementation of the "double reduction" policy.From the perspective of cognition of policy,it is found that there are significant differences between parents of different ages,parents of students in different classes and parents of students at different learning levels in cognition of policy.There are significant differences between parents of non-vocational students and parents of students of different learning levels in their cognition of educational needs and school education and teaching.Based on the above studies,this paper explores the influencing factors of parents’ cognition of policies from the perspectives of parents,schools,society and government.Based on the analysis of the existing problems and influencing factors in parents’ policy cognition,this paper systematically analyzes the intervention strategies of parents’ policy cognition in compulsory education stage from the level of parents,schools,society and government.Firstly,at the level of parents,parents should establish the concept of lifelong learning and stimulate the motivation of internal learning.Expand the content of family education and establish a correct view of education.Secondly,at the school level,schools should ensure the comprehensiveness of information publicity and enhance parents’ understanding of the policy.Ensure the quality of basic education and enhance parents’ recognition of the policy;Multi-channel progress,improve parents’ awareness of the policy.Then,at the social level,adopt multi-linkage to promote the implementation of policies to alleviate parents’ education anxiety;Promote functional transformation of guidance institutions to address parents’ policy concerns.Finally,at the government level,the channels for parents’ supervision and reporting should be unblocked to enhance the communication with parents.We will establish a sound long-term governance mechanism to reduce burdens and implement policies in a coordinated manner.So,it can improve parents’ awareness of the "double reduction" policy and promote the effective implementation of the policy to provide reference.
