The country has pointed out the need to effectively improve the quality of vocational education, cultivate more high-quality comprehensive talents, and continue to promote the reform of modern vocational education system construction in order to deepen the reform of vocational education system construction. At present, through multiple surveys,it has been found that there are still various problems with short video courses in vocational schools, such as chapter segmentation knowledge points and students’ lack of overall mastery of short video planning;Weak innovation awareness, and students’ ability to create short videos still needs to be improved;Lack of cultural literacy and lack of cultural connotations in the dissemination of student works.Based on the needs of teaching reform and the characteristics of secondary vocational education, this study attempts to practice theme based teaching in the course of "Short Video Creation",and uses intangible cultural heritage creative themes as the teaching theme,in order to change the current teaching situation and help promote the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage while realizing teaching value.Based on the investigation and analysis of relevant research on intangible cultural heritage themed teaching at home and abroad,as well as the course "Short Video Creation" in vocational schools, this study determines the feasibility of intangible cultural heritage themed teaching from three aspects: intangible cultural heritage themed teaching helps students master short video planning as a whole, helps students achieve short video creation ability, and helps enrich short video dissemination content.Based on the curriculum standards, ability goals, and current teaching status of "Short Video Creation" in vocational schools,a practical strategy for using intangible cultural heritage themed teaching in the course has been developed, which involves three aspects: short video planning, short video creation, and the depth of short video dissemination content.Specifically, the application of themed teaching mode promotes students’ overall grasp of planning;2.Exploring the thematic characteristics of intangible cultural heritage and promoting students’ ability to create short videos;3.Explore the diverse value of intangible cultural heritage themes and enhance the depth of short video dissemination content. Finally, based on the above strategy, the theme of this short video course teaching practice is "Dong embroidery",which gradually progresses from entering intangible cultural heritage, exploring intangible cultural heritage, and creating beautiful intangible cultural heritage. In the teaching practice, the theme is taken as the main line, based on the textbook, the teaching content is expanded and extended, and diversified teaching methods and evaluation are adopted to ultimately achieve the teaching objectives.Emphasis is placed on stimulating students’ interest and integrating theory and practice,Stimulate students’ innovative awareness, exercise their innovative ability, enable them to flexibly apply their knowledge to create, and ultimately guide them to complete the short video creation of "Dong embroidery".From teaching feedback, good results have been achieved. The ideas and teaching practices proposed in this article have certain reference value for vocational short video courses, and also play a certain role in the inheritance and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage culture. However, due to limitations in personal research level, time, and other aspects,as well as limited research samples, venues, equipment, and school curriculum, the practice of intangible cultural heritage themed teaching is not yet rich enough, and further improvement is needed.
