| Health is the foundation of human comprehensive development,related to the happiness of thousands of families,diet is the major factor to determine human health.In the increasingly rich material conditions today,people have more and more diverse diet choices.Senior high school students are in a critical period of cognitive development and are easily affected by external factors.In this context,how to guide students to establish a scientific and healthy concept of diet and improve health literacy has become the focus of education,but also the key to healthy China initiative.However,a big challenge in promoting health education is how to meet the diverse needs of different students in different places.As the core and foundation of school education,curriculum is the main source of knowledge for students to learn,as well as an important basis for students’ quality development and teachers’ teaching blueprint.As a supplement to the national curriculum,school-based curriculum has unique advantages in reflecting local characteristics and meeting individual needs.Therefore,based on the analysis of the classical theory of curriculum development,this research is based on the analysis of the classical theory of curriculum development.Schools are selected to carry out the development and practical research of the school-based biology course "Human health and diet",in order to form a scientific and adaptive curriculum system that can meet the needs of students’ health literacy,and provide reference for the subsequent school-based curriculum development and practical research.This research firstly gave a theoretical overview of the development of school-based curriculum and healthy diet curriculum,defines the core concepts,took the classic curriculum development model as reference,and determined he development model of this study as follows:Define the value of the curriculum subject;Determine the curriculum applicable object;Analyze the situation;Determine the nature of the curriculum;Curriculum concept and curriculum objectives;Curriculum content selection and organization;Curriculum implementation and activity development;Curriculum evaluation and feedback.Secondly,in the development stage,SWOT analysis,interviews and questionnaires were used to investigate the school,teachers and students and Work with school teachers to set up a curriculum development team.At the same time,in order to understand the realistic needs of students,401 students in senior one were surveyed by questionnaires.Based on the survey results and the requirements of National Biology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition,2020 revision),the curriculum objectives of "Human health and diet" were determined from the four dimensions of biological core literacy.On the premise of combining the actual situation of the school and the needs of students,five curriculum topics with the core of microbiology,nutrients,diet and disease,food additives and biotechnology have been established,and corresponding exploration activities have been set,and relevant contents have been organized and implemented.This course adopts the form of students’ independent course selection,with 44 students in Grade One as the research object.Finally,after the implementation of the curriculum,questionnaire survey and interview were used to evaluate and reflect on the curriculum itself,curriculum implementation,student development and other aspects.The results show that the school-based biology course "Human health and diet" can help students understand the knowledge about human body,health and diet,improve their awareness of nutrition and health,and cultivate the literacy of healthy life.At the same time,it also helps to improve students’ interest in biology,exercise their ability to apply biology to real life situations,and broaden students’ biological perspective.The following conclusions are drawn from the summary research of school-based curriculum development: "Preliminary investigation and analysis and integration of course resources are the basis for the smooth development and implementation of the course.The selection of content arouses students’ interest and satisfies students’ needs is the basis of the effectiveness of the course.Semi-open topics and interactive classes are the key to the dissemination of curriculum ideas and the achievement of objectives.This study has formed a relatively complete set of school-based curriculum system,which had been highly recognized by teachers and students in terms of process and results. |
