| The type and content of sports activities are different,and children’s play performance will also be different.In order to explore the situation of children’s play performance under different sports activities,the researcher will explore the characteristics of children’s play performance in sports activities and the differences of children’s play performance in different types of sports activities based on the three types of sports activities: basic movement skills,basic gymnastics exercises and sports games.This study mainly adopts the qualitative and quantitative research methods.On the basis of the Children’s Playfulness Scale compiled by Barnett in 1991,it adjusts and deletes some items that are not suitable for the research situation according to the actual observation,and finally completes the revision by combining the expert argumentation and the suggestions of the front-line kindergarten teachers and referring to the relevant scales to form the Children’s Playfulness Evaluation Scale in Sports Activities.The researcher entered the park as a non-participator and conducted non-participative observation in the natural environment.The researcher formally entered the park to collect samples and relevant data for a total of two and a half months.The researcher recorded the actual situation of each sports activity into a video,and then used the revised scale as the evaluation tool,Grade 60 children in two kindergartens in J City(20 in the primary,middle and large classes,with the ratio of male to female being 1:1)for180 games of sports activities.In addition,qualitative research methods such as literature method,case analysis method and interview method are used to make up for the lack of quantitative research and provide more detailed and specific information for this study.Through the statistical analysis of the collected scores of children’s playfulness in 180 sports activities,the researcher drew the following conclusions: on the one hand,the overall characteristics of children’s playfulness in sports activities and the correlation between the dimensions of children’s playfulness performance: first,the overall performance of children’s playfulness reflected by 180 sports activities is at the upper middle level;Secondly,there is a significant correlation between the five dimensions of children’s play performance and the total score of play,and the correlation between "obvious pleasure" and the total score of play is the highest;Third,there is a significant positive correlation between the five dimensions of gameplay performance.On the other hand,there are differences in the level of play among the three types of sports activities in various dimensions: first,in terms of physical spontaneity,children’s physical coordination ability in gymnastics exercises is the best,sports games are the second,and movement skills are the worst;Second,in terms of cognitive spontaneity,young children perform best in sports games,followed by gymnastics exercises,and their movement skills are the worst;Third,children’s social spontaneity performs best in sports games,and there is no significant difference between basic movement skills and gymnastics exercises;Fourth,in terms of obvious pleasure,children perform best in sports games,basic gymnastics exercises take second place,and basic movement skills are the worst;Fifthly,the performance of children’s sense of humor in the three types of sports activities has no significant difference,which is lower than the average level,but the sense of humor is still an indispensable standard to measure children’s playful performance.Based on the above data and results and through the analysis of observation cases,it is found that there are still some problems in the development and organization of kindergarten sports activities.The main reasons that affect the playfulness of children in sports activities are as follows: the placement and use of kindergarten sports equipment is not reasonable,the guiding role of teachers in different sports activities is not fully played,and the goals,contents and organizational forms of sports activities are relatively random.Finally,based on the above reasons,this study gives educational suggestions from three aspects: optimizing children’s sports equipment to improve children’s playfulness,enhancing teachers’ observation and analysis ability to give full play to teachers’ support,and integrating three types of sports activities,and improving the organization form of sports activities. |
