Abstract/Summary:
Reading is an important component of high school students’ language learning,and it is also the foundation and prerequisite for learning other content.Only with good reading skills can one correctly understand the meaning of a text,thereby improving the level of thinking,enriching knowledge,and achieving comprehensive development.However,at the same time,part of the content of high school Chinese textbooks is relatively complex,and the writing era is relatively distant from students’ current lives.Students are difficult to actively engage in reading without certain experience and relevant knowledge background.Therefore,it is particularly important for teachers to adopt what teaching methods to stimulate students’ reading interest in reading teaching.Situational teaching method is a commonly used teaching method in the teaching of Chinese reading in senior high schools.By creating a reading situation that fits the text and combining emotional activities with cognitive activities,it can effectively attract students’ attention,stimulate the interest in active reading,and promote students’ self-construction of knowledge.However,the implementation effect of this method is not very ideal at present.Therefore,how to better apply situational teaching method to senior high school Chinese reading teaching is an important issue that educators need to pay attention to.Through educational practice,the author has observed the actual teaching situation of high school Chinese reading teaching and the application of situational teaching methods in high school Chinese reading teaching.At the same time,he has also adopted research methods such as literature method,observation method,questionnaire survey method,and case analysis method to conduct theoretical research.The introduction section mainly introduces the background,significance,concept definition,research status,and research methods of the study.The first chapter explains the applicability of situational teaching in Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools from three aspects: meeting the requirements of curriculum standards,meeting the requirements of the current situation of Chinese reading teaching in senior high schools,and adapting to the characteristics of psychological development of senior high school students.It also aims to stimulate students’ interest in reading,enhance their emotional experience in reading,and inject vitality into the reading classroom.The four aspects of improving students’ reading ability illustrate the role of situational teaching method in high school Chinese reading teaching.In the second chapter,the author analyzes the survey results of the application of situational teaching method in senior high school Chinese reading teaching.Through investigation,the following three problems were found: narrow source of situational materials,insufficient development;The way of creating situations is relatively limited;The design of teaching links is inadequate and lacks integrity.Subsequently,the corresponding reasons were analyzed,including insufficient awareness of developing curriculum resources,lack of theoretical experience in situational teaching,and utilitarianism in the use of situational teaching methods.Chapter Three,based on the analysis of the existing problems and their causes,proposes corresponding countermeasures,including fully developing situational resources and expanding students’ horizons;Improve the theoretical literacy of situational teaching and enrich the means of situational creation;Conceptualize situational teaching links to improve teaching effectiveness.
