Since the fall of 2018,the " General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017Edition)" has been fully implemented.Compared with the old curriculum standards,the new curriculum standards pay more attention to cultural heritage and students ’ emotional experience,emphasizing the cultivation of students ’ humanistic heritage and scientific spirit.There are also some obvious changes in the new curriculum standards : such as emphasizing the importance of cultural education;pay attention to the cultivation and promotion of Chinese core literacy;build a large number of learning task groups;to improve the structure of Chinese curriculum,’ situation ’ 34 times become high frequency words,and so on.Among them,the most striking is a large number of learning task groups.Among many task groups,novel teaching is an extremely important module.The novel has the characteristics of a specific genre.Through the specific and changeable environment and the vivid and complete storyline,it creates a distinct and specific character image.If it cannot be close to the stylistic features of the novel to carry out teaching,it will greatly affect the teaching effect.Therefore,high school Chinese teachers must pay attention to the teaching of novel reading.Students in high school are active in thought,and their knowledge level and literary literacy need to be improved urgently.There is still a big gap between the requirements of the new curriculum standard for students ’ core literacy,and the situational teaching method can help teachers complete the teaching task of novel reading teaching.The application of situational teaching method in high school Chinese teaching is conducive to cultivating students ’ comprehensive ability.The situational teaching method can stimulate students ’ interest in novel texts,improve learning efficiency,let students have an overall perception and grasp of the knowledge they have learned,and then promote the development of students ’ core literacy of Chinese subject.Therefore,how to apply situational teaching method to high school Chinese classroom has become one of the focuses of current education reform.Based on the theory of situational education,this study discusses the importance of situational teaching method in the teaching of Chinese novel reading in senior high school,analyzes the current situation of situational teaching method applied to the teaching of Chinese novel reading in senior high school,investigates the teaching situation of teachers,grasps the learning situation of students through questionnaires,analyzes the problems presented in the teaching process,analyzes the causes of the problems,and then takes the problem as the guidance,studies and formulates the effective strategies of using situational teaching method in the teaching of Chinese novel reading in senior high school.The first chapter mainly expounds the background and purpose of applying situational teaching method in high school Chinese novel reading teaching classroom and the research results of scholars at home and abroad.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into four parts :The first part is the analysis of situational teaching method applied to high school Chinese novel reading teaching.This part elaborates from two aspects : the situational teaching method conforms to the requirements of the new curriculum standard of high school Chinese and the stylistic characteristics of the novel.The former mainly focuses on the requirements of the new curriculum standard of high school Chinese for novel teaching,as well as the expectations of the unified edition of high school Chinese textbooks compiled under the guidance of the new curriculum standard for novel teaching.The latter mainly expounds the four aspects of the situational teaching method in line with the novel characterization,environmental description,plot advancement and novel theme expression.The second part is the investigation and problem analysis of the application of situational teaching method in high school Chinese novel reading teaching.Through questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students in the teaching school,it is found that there are some problems in the process of using the situational teaching method to read the novel,that is,there is no clear goal in the creation of the situation,the creation of the situation ignores the emotional resonance,the creation of the situation lacks diversity,etc.,and the above problems and the corresponding reasons are analyzed in detail.The third part is the strategy of situational teaching method applied to high school Chinese novel reading teaching.It mainly puts forward specific strategies and suggestions for the problems in the second part,including creating problem situations and fully implementing teaching priorities.Create environmental situations to stimulate students ’ emotions;create background and language situation,multiple interpretation of the novel.The fourth part selects the novel of ’ blessing ’,applies situational teaching method,creates problem situation,environmental situation and background situation to carry out teaching practice,to verify the practical guiding significance of the teaching strategies proposed in the third part.This paper comprehensively applies the literature analysis method,the investigation research method and the case study method,focusing on highlighting the significance of the situational teaching method,so that the situational teaching method can be reasonably and efficiently applied to the teaching of high school Chinese novel reading,in order to provide method support for the actual teaching of front-line teachers,so as to promote the reform of front-line teachers ’ novel teaching practice and the improvement of teaching methods,deepen students ’ emotional experience when reading novels,improve students ’ reading appreciation ability and aesthetic cognitive ability,etc.,realize the cultivation and promotion of students ’core literacy,and achieve the purpose of improving teaching efficiency.
