Economic development promotes the explosive growth of floating population in cities,and children move into cities along with their parents or other guardians who work in cities.As a result,the scale of floating children keeps increasing in recent years,arousing the continuous attention of the society on the growth and education of floating children.The research object of this paper is 9-11 years old urban floating children.Through field investigation,it is found that floating children generally exist the phenomenon of lack of physiological knowledge and inadequate maintenance of personal hygiene.In terms of living conditions,it is normal for migrant children to rent one room for their whole family.The facilities are not perfect and the privacy is poor,which is not conducive to migrant children to establish gender awareness and privacy protection awareness.In addition,parents,schools in the absence of sex education,network information is uneven,many factors affect the quality of migrant children’s sex education.9-11 years old is the age group that is about to usher in puberty,and the lack of cognition of sex education is easy to lead migrant children into growth difficulties.Therefore,it is an urgent need for migrant children to participate in adolescent sex education groups.This paper mainly uses the method of group work to intervene in the process of adolescent sex education for floating children.In terms of content,it focuses on such topics as how life is born,body composition,adolescent development,menstrual period,gender identity,etc.,to meet the needs of adolescent growth of migrant children.In terms of group organization,the head teacher is invited to join the group to co-create,manage group discipline and participate in group activities,so that the head teacher’s energy becomes a favorable factor to promote the group and increase the influence of the group.In terms of theory,group dynamics theory and social learning theory are used to form group dynamics by taking the behaviors of group members,social workers and teachers as the elements and group interaction as the carrier,so as to improve the environment’s negative views on sex education and break the negative factors affecting the sex cognition of migrant children.The sex education framework of "knowledge,attitude and skill" is adopted in the structure.Around the theme of each group activity,three levels of goals are set,namely,increasing sexual knowledge,improving nursing skills and improving sexual attitude,and multi-dimensional learning of sexual education knowledge is convenient for group members to put what they learn into practice.In group implementation,there were five stages of intervention.In the group preparation stage,analyze the needs of team members according to the pre-test questionnaire and make the group plan;At the early stage of the group,I should actively release friendly signals,create an inclusive and open group atmosphere,establish a good interactive relationship,preliminarily learn physiological knowledge and know myself.In the middle stage of the group,pay attention to the positive interaction between the members,carry out sexual physiology education,so that the members can establish clear logic of sexual knowledge;In the later stage of the group,the relationship between group members reached a peak.During many group sessions,I helped them build their self-consciousness and group consciousness,learned knowledge about adolescent development,established a general understanding of development and group identity in the class,and avoided negative emotions in adolescence.At the end of the group,review the core knowledge points and consolidate the learning achievements.Congratulate the team members for completing the learning challenge and successfully ending the group.After the end of the group,through the process evaluation and result evaluation of the sex education group for floating children,the effectiveness of group work intervention in improving the level of adolescent sex education for floating children was verified.The intervention of the group promotes the awakening and reflection of the members in terms of cognition,attitude and skills of sex education.Through continuous interaction among the members,the group helps the members to give full play to their potential,which generally improves the level of sex education for migrant children and creates a good atmosphere for the youth sexual growth of migrant children.Help migrant children’s health and well-being,help migrant children face the challenges of life,and help migrant children establish harmonious interpersonal relationship.
