Children are the flowers of the motherland,representing the country's hope and future.As of October 2015,there were over 35 million floating children in China.How to keep this floating flowers growth healthy and happier is an essential factor for the harmony and stability of our society.It is inevitable that floating children will face many problems in their life,and the peer relationship is one of the interpersonal relationships that they need to face and deal with frequently.Based on the existing research,this paper is based on the social work practice in the D youth space in Wuhan.Through a certain period of contact,observation,implementation and evaluation,the effect of the group work on the improvement of the children's peer relationship is gradually becoming clear.This research is mainly carried out in the following aspects.Firstly,it analyzed the macro and micro background,the theoretical and practical significance as well as the research design from the points including the purpose,content,method and train of thought.Secondly,define the concept of "floating children" in details,children aged between 6 and 14 years old,who leave their registered permanent residence with their parents or guardians and have been living in the immigrant land for more than six months.And "peer relationship" namely the relationship between the good and bad situation and the degree of relationship.The two important theoretical bases used in this study are the theory of social learning and the theory of strength perspective are also be expounded in detail.Then according to the general process of social work practice,that is,from receive case,forecasts,plans to step in and evaluation,settlement,to carrying out group work practice in D youth space analysis:Through analyzing the present situation of the floating children to ensure selecting team members;Then,make the demand prediction based on observing and interviewing from the common and personality problems of the group members in the peer relationship to draw up the corresponding group work plan.Finally,summarize the group activities implementation's situation in six times group work intervention from the angle of participation performance of the group members,the implementation of the plan,and the previous group activities implementation,comprehensive assessment for team work from aspect of team members,team social worker,group as a whole,team environment by the methods of interview team members to share,observation,parents feedback.Two conclusions are drawn through above research,The first one is there are more efficient in intervention of the group work when social workers combination the dominant view theory and social learning theory in the process of social work practice.The second one is group social work intervention have a prevail advantage in simulation team activity scenario to improve floating child peer relations compare.This paper also reflects on the deficiencies in the research.There are two viewpoints are proposed as discussion in the end by reflection the research's deficits is that group work should not only carry out group activities,but also should as a related theories and cases to promote the communication and communication between team members.group work methods intervention the peer relationship of floating children as a specialization and standardization model has an extensive reference significant in program of Wuhan youth space and other similar adolescent social work projects.
