| After entering the new social living environment, migrant children are in various stages of constant adjustment and adaptation.According to Erickson’s human development stage theory, peers are important links in the current stage of migrant children.Peer interaction is an important medium to promote their social development. However, due to the combined effects of migrant children themselves, families and schools on the lack of attention and internal and external factors such as social environment, migrant children have related problems in peer interaction, and their peers have insufficient communication skills. This study took the F community in Kunming as the research site, and the 7-12 year-old floating children in the community as the research object.Through questionnaires, interviews with migrant children, primary carers and teachers, and participation in observations, etc.,we learned that migrant children are in peer groups. There are problems such as lack of initiative and self-confidence in communication, weak language and non-verbal skills, and prominent social barriers. After understanding the problems and needs of service users, professional services for social work were carried out in terms of improving language and non-language skills, enhancing communication confidence, correctly managing emotions, and learning to resolve conflicts. In the entire service process, contextual simulation and role play were comprehensively used.Case analysis and picture book reading and other diversified service methods. The results of the study showed that the communicative initiative of the migrant children, linguistic and nonverbal competencies, conflict resolution, and the ability to solve peer problems through mutual assistance and cooperation have been significantly improved. At the same time,in order to better improve the interpersonal abilities of floating children,it is necessary to fully mobilize and give full play to the functions and roles of the research object systems;social work should be extended to the real life world of migrant children and focus on the unification of the continuity and dynamics of professional services; In addition,we must sum up the successful experiences and outstanding results of learning other subjects in related issues, making the service more diversified, and the effects of the service continue to improve. This will enable migrant children to truly integrate into urban community life and realize their own social development. |
