Ancient poems is the essence of Chinese history and an important way to inherit the excellent traditional culture of China.In September 2017,the compiling Chinese textbooks for primary school was put into use throughout the country.The number of ancient poems has increased compared with the past,and the genres have become more abundant.Under the background of core literacy education,the curriculum standards have also put forward new requirements for the teaching of ancient poems.With the enrichment of theoretical research and practical experience,multi-text reading has been used by more and more teachers in the teaching of ancient poetry.As to how to combine multi-text reading teaching with the ancient poetry teaching in senior primary school Chinese,the author uses the research methods of literature research,text analysis,case analysis and individual interviews to analyze the problems and practical value of multi-text reading in ancient poetry teaching in senior primary school.Through the analysis of problems and their causes,this paper presents suggestions of applying multi-text reading in teaching ancient poetry in senior primary school.First,teachers should understand the learning needs of students in grade five and six,select meaningful ancient poems as learning contents,form texts of typical ancient poems,and stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning.Second,teachers should grasp the essential characteristics of multi-texts,analyze the similarities and differences of them,identify the connection points between the texts,and draw up appropriate and specific learning objectives of ancient poems based on students’ different learning levels.Third,teachers should carry out rich and colorful reading activities of ancient poems to improve students’ thinking abilities at different levels such as memorization,analysis,synthesis and evaluation.Finally,teachers should check the real learning status of students in reading ancient poems,evaluate students’ classroom performance,and provide targeted guidance to promote students to achieve the learning goals of ancient poetry.The study aims to make more teachers pay attention to and attach importance to multi-text reading in teaching ancient poetry and widely apply this method to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior primary school,changing the traditional teaching concept and method of ancient poetry and improving teachers’ ancient poetry literacy and teaching abilities.Through multi-text reading mode of autonomy-exploration-cooperation,students can improve their interest in learning ancient poetry,generate their subjective initiative and enhance their overall improvement of core literacy.This paper presents methods and suggestions for the practice of multi-text reading teaching in ancient poetry in senior primary school,and provides a certain reference for Chinese teachers in the fifth and sixth grades of primary school to apply multi-text reading teaching of ancient poetry.
