China is known as the "poetry country",and the beautiful poems are the wisdom,elegance and lofty sentiments of the sages,carrying the long-standing Chinese history and the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture,which is a bright pearl in the world's literary treasury.China has always attached great importance to the study of classical ancient poems,and the degree of importance has been increasing.This shows that ancient poems occupy an important position in the teaching of high school language.However,there are still many problems in teaching ancient poems,including students' lack of interest in learning,lack of appreciation ability and lack of aesthetic awareness;teachers usually adopt the teaching method of single-part lecture,which is difficult to play the main role of students.Group reading is a breakthrough way of teaching reading in recent years,which has the natural advantage of expanding the reading area and improving the quality of thinking,and is widely used in language reading teaching of all school levels.Based on this,the author tries to combine high school ancient poetry teaching with group reading,exploring effective strategies for teaching high school ancient poetry group reading based on the problems of high school ancient poetry teaching derived from the questionnaire survey,and organizing group reading from three aspects: topic setting,text organization,and collective construction to improve the overall reading teaching effect.It provides some teaching ideas for front-line teachers by finding entry points for group reading of ancient poems from three perspectives: interest level,comprehension level,and aesthetic level,organizing ancient poems rationally,and setting appropriate topics.This thesis consists of three main parts: the introduction,the main body and the conclusion.The introductory part describes the background of the study,the significance of the study,the literature review,the research ideas and methods.The main body consists of five parts.The first part is a brief overview of the concept,basic elements and characteristics of group reading,which distinguishes group reading from other forms of reading.The second part elaborates the applicability of group reading in teaching ancient poetry in high school.One is that constructivism theory,intertextuality theory,and learning transfer theory provide a solid theoretical foundation for group reading of ancient poems.The second part elaborates the necessity of applying group reading to the teaching of ancient poetry in high school from three perspectives: the requirements of the General High School Language Curriculum Standard for reading and the requirements of language core literacy and language learning task groups.The third part uses a questionnaire survey to understand the current situation of teaching ancient poetry in high school,and summarizes the existing problems at the teacher level and student level in a simple way.The fourth part explores the application strategies of group reading in teaching ancient poems in high school from two main aspects.On the one hand,based on the overall operation of group reading in high school ancient poetry teaching,the implementation strategies are proposed from three aspects: topic setting,text organization,and collective construction.On the other hand,the group texts of ancient poems are designed at three levels: interest level,comprehension level,and aesthetic level,in order to improve students' core language literacy.The fifth part is a case study of reading ancient poetry group texts in high school.The group text reading teaching design is based on the example of Du Fu's "Ascent to the Heights" in the Unified Edition high school language textbook.The concluding section outlines the research process of this paper and analyzes the shortcomings of the study.
