Ancient poetry is a bright pearl in the history of Chinese literature.Reading and appreciating ancient poetry can help students understand the unique beauty of ancient poetry,find its connotation and value,and appreciate excellent traditional culture.However,the knowledge and ability of senior high school students are still relatively shallow,and there is still a lack of systematic method guidance for the reading of ancient poetry.Therefore,most students are difficult to grasp the deeper meaning conveyed by the works when reading ancient poetry,and their interest in learning ancient poetry is getting lower and lower over time.Based on the understanding of the theory of "text close reading",this study conducted a questionnaire survey on some senior high schools in Horqin district,Tongliao City,Inner Mongolia,to understand the current situation of ancient poetry reading teaching in senior high schools.After the statistics and analysis of the survey data,it is found that there are some problems in the current teaching of ancient poetry reading in senior high school,such as students’ difficulties in understanding ancient poetry and lack of awareness of close reading;Teachers rely too much on teaching reference and pay insufficient attention to students’ close reading.The main reasons for the problems include: the utilitarian purpose of learning,the outdated concept of ancient poetry teaching,the lack of learning situation analysis ability,and the lack of learning method guidance and close reading resources.Ancient poetry reading teaching is in a state of low quality and no vitality.Therefore,it is imperative to find ways to improve the quality of ancient poetry reading teaching.Under the care of the "text close reading" theory,this paper puts forward a series of "close reading" teaching strategies,mainly including "what to read","how to read" and "what to pay attention to".The first is the question of "what to read".We should focus on the language,image,artistic conception and form of ancient poetry;Secondly,it expounds the problem of "how to read",from plain reading and recitation to reduction,questioning and comparison;At the same time,it explains "what to pay attention to",that is,several principles of ancient poetry reading teaching,and discusses it with specific examples.Finally,taking Su Shi’s "niannujiao · Chibi nostalgia" in the first volume of senior high school Chinese compulsory edition as an example,this paper makes a close reading of the text and the analysis of relevant lesson examples.On this basis,it attempts to carry out teaching design from the aspects of learning objectives,learning tasks,learning process and so on.
