| The digital transformation has brought new opportunities and challenges to the employment of people with physical and mental disabilities at the same time.On the one hand, the digitalisation of employment has weakened the physical impairments and psychological barriers of persons with physical and mental disabilities, and to a certain extent has enabled them to avoid being discriminated against in employment. On the other hand, the disadvantage of people with physical and mental disabilities in terms of competitiveness in employment has not been fundamentally reversed due to their physical impairment and poor employment skills.Despite the support provided by the government and society in many areas, the digital employment of people with physical and mental disabilities is still not as effective as it could be.From the existing studies,it is worthwhile to explore the path of social work interventions for the self-efficacy of people with physical and mental disabilities in digital employment by enhancing their sense of self-efficacy.This study attempts to explore the intervention pathways to enhance the self-efficacy of people with physical and mental disabilities in the context of digital employment, and to explore social work approaches to promote the integration of people with physical and mental disabilities in digital employment, using the perspective of social work professional strengths.A combination of scales, qualitative interviews and participant observation was used in this study. In the first stage, qualitative interviews were conducted with people with physical and mental disabilities in digital employment and entrepreneurship, and those in charge of vocational skills training on the Internet,in order to understand the self-efficacy intervention needs of people with physical and mental disabilities in digital employment.Secondly, the study used the Shanghai "Digitization Empowers The Disabled" Project as a case study to analyse the effect of social work interventions on enhancing the self-efficacy of people with physical and mental disabilities through the design, implementation and evaluation of the intervention program of the "Self-efficacy Enhancement Group for People with Physical and Mental Disabilities".A total of nine persons with mental and physical disabilities participated in the intervention group and the effectiveness of the intervention was evaluated through a pre-test and post-measurement of the General Self-Efficacy Scale. The main findings of this study include the following.Firstly, social work group interventions can significantly increase the overall self-efficacy of this group using four basic approaches: personal acquisition of achievement, alternative experiences, verbal persuasion and physio-psychological status, and significantly increase the needs in the areas of self-identity,emotional control, social interaction and attitude towards life.Secondly, social workers can promote the digital employment integration of people with physical and mental disabilities through individual intervention and social support,in which the individual intervention path uses a strengths-based perspective to enhance the self-efficacy of people with physical and mental disabilities, while the system intervention is based on the "government-society-people with physical and mental disabilities" digital employment social support system, from the perspective of resource linkage The systemic intervention is based on the "government-societypeople with physical and mental disabilities" social support system, building a social support network for people with physical and mental disabilities. |
