In high school,the teaching of prose reading is an important content of Chinese teaching.However,in reality,students’ prose appreciation ability is still generally low,their understanding of the core concepts of prose style is vague,and there are many problems in prose teaching.The rise and development of big concept teaching has brought an opportunity to break through the dilemma of prose reading teaching from a new perspective.In view of this,the author has carried out a case study on the teaching of high school Chinese prose units under the concept of "big concept",with a view to improving the dilemma of prose reading teaching,cultivating high school students’ interest in learning prose,and constructing core concepts related to prose style.This article consists of three parts:introduction,text,and conclusion.In the introduction,the author focuses on the research background,issues,and significance of high school Chinese prose unit teaching under the big concept,analyzes the current research situation,and makes relevant explanations for the research methods used in this article.The text is divided into three parts.In the first part,the author focuses on theoretical exploration,discusses the concept connotation,main characteristics,and implementation process of high school Chinese prose unit teaching under the big concept.In the second part,the author carries out a specific case design,focusing on the implementation methods of the essay concept teaching in Unit 7 of the Compulsory Volume I of the Unified Edition of High School Chinese Textbook from three levels:constructing conceptual clues,optimizing the learning process,and formulating evaluation plans.In the third part,based on the theoretical and practical exploration of the first two parts,the author conducted a rational reflection on the teaching of high school Chinese prose units under the big concept,summarized the value of teaching implementation,reflected on existing problems,and proposed corresponding improvement strategies.Through the case study of the unit teaching of Chinese prose in senior high school under the big concept,this paper finds that the practical implementation of the big concept teaching of prose has an obvious positive effect on students to master the core concept of prose,explore the essential thinking method of the discipline,and generate a structured knowledge system,The teaching of the big concept of prose in senior high school is not completely smooth in the actual implementation.There are also problems such as Teaching to the test occupying the implementation space,teachers’ quality level is insufficient,and students’ interest in prose style reading is insufficient.Therefore,the author proposes to broaden the implementation space of big concept teaching from multiple perspectives,introduce relevant excellent cases to assist teachers in their development,flexibly handle the relationship between single article and group article teaching,develop situational tasks and resources to stimulate learning interest,and other improvement strategies,striving to build a more effective implementation paradigm for prose unit teaching under the big concept.
