Under the influence of Chinese new curriculum reform, Chinese textbook arrangement has also changed, "Yuan" theme group become the new compiling pattern for people of Chinese textbooks for junior middle school. This new arrangement mode in teaching requires teachers to change the traditional single teaching mode, grasp the unit subject teaching advantages, according to the needs of practical teaching, starting from the concept of integrity, integration, to develop a feasible unit theme teaching target and teaching design. For the integrity awareness and improve teachers’teaching quality of Chinese teaching has a great role in promoting.This article consists of four parts. The first is the introduction, mainly puts forward the research question and the significance, define key concepts, research status analysis unit subject teaching. The second part as a unit from the theoretical research of subject teaching design guide. The third part of the junior high school, modern and contemporary prose unit theme teaching goal setting, respectively from period of master unit, school year theme of goal setting, design and based on this form are divided into different grades. The fourth part of the junior high school, modern and contemporary prose unit theme teaching design process, targeted on seven, eight, nine grade teaching case analysis.
