| Among the titles selected for the junior high school language textbook of the Ministry of Education,the quantity of modern prose occupies a large proportion and is the key content of Chinese teaching.Sincere and profound modern prose,as a literary genre with high aesthetic value,not only can help students cultivate their sentiment,improve their aesthetic appreciation ability,and enrich the spiritual world,but also has important significance for the comprehensive development of students’ core literacy,giving full play to the educational value of Chinese courses.Nevertheless,the long-standing issues of teaching middle class contemporary essays cannot be neglected,such as students’ shallow understanding of the language,theme,and emotions of modern prose,insufficient interest,and inability to feel the beauty of prose.Language teaching is actually a verbal activity,and the whole process of teaching is closely connected with the context.Therefore,this article explores the teaching of modern prose in junior high schools based on the context theory,with a view to providing some ideas for improving the problems existing in modern prose teaching.This thesis places modern prose teaching in the perspective of context theory.Firstly,it comprehensively and systematically clarifies context theory,including its definition and classification,and comprehensively illustrates the convergence of context theory and modern prose teaching from three aspects: context characteristics,curriculum provisions,and the significance of introduction,laying a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent exploration and research.Then,based on the actual situation of teaching,it summarizes the problems existing in the teaching of modern prose in junior high schools,and explores the root causes of the problems in modern prose teaching.Finally,explore the specific application methods and strategies of context theory in modern prose,which is also the focus of this paper.On the basis of collating relevant context theory materials,and combining the previous issues and reasons discussed,the author proposes targeted strategies from the aspects of text context,cognitive context,and classroom context,focusing on the text Specific strategies are proposed from the three dimensions of the subject and object of the classroom: making good use of contextual elements within the text to deepen the level of text understanding;Paying attention to the reader’s context and promoting the integration of the subject and the text;Create classroom context and create an object environment suitable for the tone of the text.The purpose of this thesis is to fully explore the contextual factors in modern prose teaching in junior high schools,and explore the concept of contextual teaching The teaching strategy of modern prose in junior high school can provide some reference for modern prose in junior high school,and further enrich the theory of context application in Chinese teaching.To enable junior high school modern prose to effectively enhance students’ interest in learning,and further improve the effectiveness of junior high school Chinese teaching and learning. |
