| With the development of information technology in education,the way of teaching is also evolving and the use of information technology to improve teaching is the trend of educational reform.Assessment is an important part of teaching and learning and plays a key role in pedagogical reform.How to assess students objectively and comprehensively is one of the important issues in education research in the current context of information technology.Some scholars have already researched the evaluation system under information-based teaching and put forward evaluation indicators with guiding significance.It is necessary to continue research on how to form an evaluation system in line with the characteristics of e-commerce profession based on the research results.The subject of this paper is students in secondary vocational schools,and takes the course "E-Commerce Fundamentals and Practices" as an example,combining process evaluation with blended teaching to study its feasibility and effectiveness in the teaching of this course.The article collates the relevant theoretical foundations and the current situation of domestic and international research,and investigates the teaching status of secondary e-commerce majors using questionnaire and interview methods,and summarizes the problems of blended teaching:single teaching methods,lack of interactive feedback,lack of student ownership and single assessment methods.To solve the above problems,the article carries out the design of enhancing blended teaching,including design principles,evaluation methods and evaluation tools;introduces the implementation process,including diagnostic evaluation before class,process evaluation during class and summary evaluation after class,constructs course evaluation indicators through the Delphi method,and determines the weights of each indicator after statistical analysis through SPSS,which is applied to specific teaching.The online learning platform chosen for this study is the Learning Connect platform.Using the Learning Connect platform and evaluation indicators,teaching practices were conducted and finally the experiment was concluded with recommendations to improve the effectiveness of blended learning: The use of multiple teaching methods,multiple assessment methods,the staging of the teaching process,the emphasis on communication and interaction and the need for teachers to be lifelong learners.The main findings of this study are as follows:(1)Using process assessment to enhance the effectiveness of blended learning can enhance student interest in learning,student communication and student engagement in the classroom.On the one hand,students are motivated by learning through the Learning Connect platform.On the other hand,the multi-faceted assessment in learning increases communication and interaction and enhances students’ sense of classroom participation.(2)The upgraded blended approach is feasible and the paper delineates clear course stages and develops a reasonably workable assessment scale that allows for evidence-based student self-assessment,peer assessment and teacher assessment.(3)The upgraded blended approach worked well and students were more satisfied with the teaching activities,teaching resources and classroom atmosphere.Students in the experimental class scored slightly higher on the tests than the control class.Thus,the teaching mode has improved teaching effectiveness and students’ learning efficiency to a certain extent. |
