In 2020,the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Education issued the "Implementation Plan for the Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Schools in the New Era",which proposed that ideological and political courses should meet the basic requirements of "grasping the new era,promoting integration,highlighting innovation,enhancing pertinence,and paying attention to coordination",focusing on the real life and long-term development of students.The development of the times and social progress require students to have correct values,necessary characters and key abilities after receiving theoretical study.The "One Case to the End" teaching method is based on "One Case",which creates situations for students in the classroom,inspires students’ thinking with problem-oriented,and distinguishes viewpoints through discussion,so as to improve comprehensive ability,which can meet the requirements of teenagers in the new era.The adoption of the "one case to the end" teaching method in high school ideological and political courses not only meets the needs of the new curriculum reform,but also facilitates students’ understanding and mastery of systematic knowledge and the cultivation of students’ comprehensive ability.Therefore,the application of the "one case to the end" teaching method in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses is an objective requirement for implementing the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,strengthening the cultivation of core literacy in the subject,and promoting the reform of students’ learning methods.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,and interview,this study discusses the theoretical and practical issues of using the "one case to the end" teaching method in high school ideological and political courses.Starting from clarifying the connotation and characteristics of "one case to the end",this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of applying the "one case to the end" teaching method to the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.Then,the method of combining questionnaire survey and interview is used to analyze the problems arising from the use of the "one case to the end" teaching method in high school ideological and political courses,and explore the causes of the problems.After investigation,the author believes that at present,the use of "one case to the end" in high school ideological and political courses for teaching has problems such as insufficient case selection,insufficient precision in problem setting,insufficient smooth process development,and insufficient consistency in preset generation,mainly due to the constraints of teachers’ use of literacy,students’ lack of adaptability,unperfect multiple evaluation systems,and difficulty in developing teaching cases.This study analyzes the existing problems and causes,and puts forward the direction of grasp based on the principles of guidance,life,comprehensiveness and integrity:scientific selection of cases;Careful consideration: reasonable setting of the problem;Guided by the situation: improve the implementation effect;Flexibility: Focus on strategies such as teaching generation to optimize the application of the "one case to the end" teaching method in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.Finally,the teaching plan is designed by taking the second box of the seventh lesson of the third unit of compulsory 4Philosophy and Culture as an example,in order to provide some teaching reference for the majority of front-line high school ideological and political course teachers(hereinafter referred to as "teachers").The research conclusion shows that the "one case to the end" teaching method has increased the diversity of teaching methods of ideological and political courses in high schools,aroused students’ enthusiasm for studying ideological and political courses,and enabled students to have a deeper understanding of ideological and political courses,thus helping to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people in ideological and political courses.
