In the 21 st century, the divorce rate is gradually increasing, which also leads to the increase of children in divorced families. In my daily life,I found that some children from divorced families have insufficient self-confidence after their parents divorce, such as silence, closure, and dare not communicate with others. The lack of self-confidence of children from divorced families will affect their interaction with the surrounding environment, which is not conducive to the healthy growth of children from divorced families. In this study, the self-confidence of children from divorced families was investigated by questionnaire, and the appropriate service object was selected for intervention.First of all,the author used interview and observation methods to communicate with the client and her grandmother, and estimated the problems and needs of the client. Then, under the guidance of the advantage perspective theory, the case work method is used to intervene in the problem of the client’s lack of self-confidence.It mainly helps the client’s self-evaluation,self-acceptance and self-value to improve their self-confidence through the five service stages of establishing professional relationships, adjusting the client’s cognition, exploring the client’s advantages, using the client’s advantages and consolidating the service effect.Enhance the interaction between clients and peers, improve family relations, and promote their healthy growth. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: First, using the case work method from the vantage point can effectively improve the self-confidence of children from divorced families.Second, the peer support of the client can promote the self-confidence of children from divorced families.
