Labor education is a fundamental guarantee for cultivating well-rounded socialist builders and successors.Xi emphasized that labor education should be brought to the level of "nurturing people",and the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Primary,Secondary and University Schools in the New Era" was issued in March 2020,which not only highlights the importance of "strengthening labor".Based on the theory of educational synergy,this paper focuses on the following questions:What is the current status of home-school synergy in elementary school labor education? What are the difficulties faced by collaborative labor education in elementary school in China? What are the reasons for them? The study was conducted by using literature method,questionnaire method,interview method and observation method,and it was found that:In the labor education of elementary school in Guangxi,home-school collaboration has helped them positively,but there are still many problems,such as the misunderstanding of the collaboration between home and school in labor education;the lack of wholeness in the content of labor education;the lack of coordination between time and space in the implementation;and the lack of home-school collaboration base in the guarantee of resources.The reasons for the problems are divided into parents,teachers and schools.On the parents’ side,there is a lack of awareness of home-school collaborative labor education,parents’ over-expectation of schools,and parents’ lack of professional guidance on labor education;on the teachers’ side,there is a lack of awareness of labor education,a lack of innovation and integration of curriculum contents,and an effective ability to develop labor education resources;on the schools’ side,there are constraints of teacher and equipment conditions,a lack of supervision and evaluation system,and insufficient financial investment are the causes of the problems.To this end,the value identity of home-school collaborative labor education should be reshaped,and the content of home-school collaborative labor teaching should be organically integrated;the model of labor education activities jointly carried out by families and schools should be constructed,and the resource guarantee for labor teaching activities jointly carried out by families and schools should be strengthened.The paper features research methods such as literature,questionnaire and interview methods,and a more solid investigation of the case schools.In the future,it is proposed to explore more deeply the attitudes,contents,implementation and guarantee of home-school collaboration in labor education.
