labor education is an important topic in the field of Chinese education in the present.With the continuous promotion of the reformation of education system,labor education is given new connotation.The practical areas of labor education have extended to school,family and society.The period of primary school is the foundation stage of nurturing labor education.At the same time,powerful home-school cooperation play a vital role in the practical advancement of primary school labor education and the improvement of labor education quality.This paper mainly is to explore how to improve the home-school cooperation in primary school labor education,in order to enhance the quality of labor education,advance the quality of students’ labor and promote the overall development of students.Through collecting the present situations of home-school cooperation in labor education in three representative primary schools in Longquanyi District of Chengdu and through the researches and analysis of the theory and practical practice,this paper explores some improvement measures of the home-school cooperation in labor education in primary school.The findings indicate that in the present process of implementing primary school labor education,home-school cooperation plays a certain role in promoting the development of labor education.However,there are still many problems,such as the cognitive bias between home and school and conflicting value claims.Besides,it relies on online platforms,and the offline platform has difficulty to take into account the whole;the content lacks comprehensiveness and neglects value cultivation to a certain extent;the evaluation and reward mechanism is not complete,and it is difficult to stimulate collaborative enthusiasm.On the basis of survey,the author induces and analyzes the causes of problems,and concludes that the differences in professional qualities between teachers and parents are caused by parents’ neglect of labor education under the exam-oriented education,schools’ failure to lead parents,parents’ failure to fully realize the basic role of family.In addition,the lack and disconnection of home-practice platform resources,the lack of innovation and integration of educational content,and the lack of a complete and systematic evaluation system are also the causes of the problems.In order to solve the problems exiting in the process of home-school cooperation in carrying out primary school labor education,on the basis of the present situations of survey,problems and the causes of problems,the author combined with the overlapping influence area theory and conducted a strategic exploration,then indicated the following strategies.First,it should focus on the value identification,and establish a communication and interaction network led by school.Second,it should contact with practical areas and carry out labor education by different kinds of ways and platforms.Third,it should integrate the co-education courses and innovate the contents of home-school education.Forth,it should construct the evaluation system to ensure the quality and consolidation of achievements of home-school education.Home-school cooperation plays a significant role in carrying out primary school labor education,improving the quality of labor education and enhancing the quality of students’ labor,which is worthy of attention and thought by academic researchers,school administrators,teachers and parents.
