With the rapid development and application of artificial intelligence,big data,"Internet plus" and other technologies in the field of education,technological change and development affect the development of teaching resources,and the concept of game based education came into being.The new curriculum reform emphasizes the comprehensive promotion of quality education,and the change of "students should learn" to "students should learn",the stimulation of students’ interest,and the active participation and willingness to explore.Educational games are introduced into the primary and secondary school classroom as a way of learning with fun.Game-based teaching breaks the traditional teaching-based teaching and injects new vitality into the traditional classroom teaching.Guided by the ARCS motivation model,this study designs and develops a game-based teaching model and educational game based on the ARCS model based on the demand survey of junior high school students’ history education games.It is expected to enhance students’ interest in history learning,exercise their historical thinking ability and gradually cultivate students’ desire to explore history and correct values.This study begins with a study of the design of the game based teaching model in junior high school.On the basis of summarizing the current situation,problems and causes of junior high school history learning,taking games as an important means to stimulate students’ learning motivation and support teaching,teaching and games are organically combined,aiming to stimulate students’motivation as the starting point,the design idea of the game-based teaching mode is clarified,the elements of ARCS motivation are integrated into the game-based teaching mode,and the game-based teaching mode of junior high school history is constructed based on ARCS model,The new lesson and the review lesson are specifically designed to give full play to the advantages of game-based teaching.Secondly,conduct research on game design for junior high school history education.According to the elements of ARCS motivation model,analyze the needs of education games from the aspects of core literacy,teaching objects,knowledge types,etc.According to the knowledge types of junior high school history,design two types of junior high school history education games,character-event education games and dynastic education games.Finally,conduct research on the design of junior high school history game based teaching and the application of educational games.Taking the first unit of history in the second volume of the seventh grade as an example,the case design of the application of educational games in history teaching is carried out,and the teaching experiment design is carried out by integrating the game-based teaching and educational games teaching,to verify the teaching effect of educational games in actual teaching.The practical conclusion shows that the ARCS-based educational game and game-based teaching model constructed by this research can effectively stimulate students’ interest and motivation in learning history,exercise their historical thinking ability,promote the transformation of students’ achievements,and further verify the feasibility and effectiveness of educational game. |
