The influence of learning motivation on learning is undeniable.Learning motivation is the motivation that causes learning activities,and it is an important condition for learning activities to be initiated,maintained and completed.Any teaching activity or teaching mode needs to stimulate and maintain students’ learning motivation.In order to further improve the teaching results of junior middle school mathematics,this study integrates the four elements of motivation of ARCS theory into the mixed teaching mode of junior middle school mathematics based on ARCS motivation model theory.Namely,Attention,Relevance,Confidence and Satisfaction,this paper explores effective approaches applicable to junior middle school mathematics teaching,in order to provide inspiration and reference for the current junior middle school mathematics teaching reform,especially the mixed teaching model reform.Guided by constructivism learning theory,achievement motivation theory and expected value theory,this paper uses literature research method and case analysis method to carry out the following research:(1)Elaborate on the research achievements of ARCS motivation models at home and abroad and the related concepts of blended learning;(2)Starting from the interpretation of the theoretical basis of the mixed teaching model of junior middle school mathematics,the value significance and principle of the system analysis;Then,in view of the motivation problems encountered by junior middle school students in the process of learning mathematics,starting from the four dimensions of attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction,aiming at each dimension and its sub-dimension,the paper puts forward targeted motivation strategies for junior middle school mathematics design.Based on the principles of practicality,cognition,communication and diversity,the mixed teaching model of junior middle school mathematics is constructed based on ARCS motivation model.(3)On the basis of the above research,combined with the principle of blended teaching and the theory of ARCS motivation model,according to the constructed teaching process,the content of isosceles Triangle,the eighth grade mathematics volume of the Su Teaching Edition,is selected to carry out a case study,analyze the effect and point out the shortcomings,so as to provide a basis for the improvement of teaching strategies in the future.Through this study,it can be proved that the introduction of ARCS motivation model into the construction of mixed teaching model of junior middle school mathematics is conducive to enhancing the motivation of students to learn mathematics,thus improving the teaching effect of mixed teaching,which can also provide some reference significance for front-line teachers to carry out mixed teaching. |
