Children are the future and the foundation of the country,strengthening children’s physique,strengthening ideological and political education is the fundamental requirement of cultivating new people in The Times.Taekwondo takes "decency and shame,patience and self-restraint" as its fundamental purpose.It integrates sports with moral education,which is of great significance for strengthening the belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics,promoting the construction of sports power,and implementing the fundamental task of "cultivating virtues and cultivating people".However,traditional taekwondo teaching emphasizes skill imparts and ignores moral education,and the practice content is simple and the practice form is fixed.As a result,students prefer taekwondo to taekwondo classes,which makes it difficult for them to play the role of taekwondo education.Therefore,under the guidance of ARCS model,this study combined curriculum ideological and political ideas with general steps of gamified teaching by using research methods such as questionnaire survey,experimental research and mathematical statistics,designed a gamified teaching model from the perspective of ARCS model,and applied it to children’s taekwondo class.The influence of this mode and traditional teaching mode on children’s physical quality,learning motivation and basic technical level of taekwondo is analyzed,and the following conclusions are drawn:1.Integrating the gamified teaching model from the perspective of ARCS model with the ideological and political ideas of the curriculum,designing around the integrated teaching idea of learning,practice,competition and evaluation,enriching the teaching form,optimizing the implementation of classroom teaching,and playing an important role in giving full play to the educational value of moral education and improving the ideological and moral quality of children.2.Both the traditional teaching model and the gamified teaching model from the perspective of ARCS model can improve children’s physical quality,but the gamified teaching model from the perspective of ARCS model has advantages in improving children’s flexibility and agility.3.Compared with traditional teaching mode,gamified teaching mode from the perspective of ARCS model is helpful to improve the learning motivation of children aged 7-12 years old,but due to the influence of physiological function,the satisfaction dimension of learning motivation of children aged 11-12 years old is not significantly improved.4.The gamified teaching mode from the perspective of ARCS model can improve the basic technical level of taekwondo for children aged 7-12,and it has more advantages in improving the performance of students.
