| During his visit to the Beijing Bayi School in 2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that basic education is the cause of cultivating morality and nurturing talent,and that ideological and moral education should be strengthened.This requires teachers to pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive qualities and the enhancement of their inquiry consciousness in the teaching process.the important mission of education in China is to cultivate talented individuals with good moral character.Therefore,inquiry-based teaching is being increasingly emphasized by more teachers of moral and legal education and actively applied in classroom teaching practice.However,there are still some issues in the classroom teaching mode,extracurricular practice activities,and the evaluation of inquiry-based teaching.This paper aims to explore the relevant content of inquiry-based teaching in moral and legal education and to analyze the unique features of this course.In the study,methods such as literature research,questionnaire surveys,and case analysis were employed to deeply examine the integration of inquiry-based teaching and the concept of building a sense of community for the Chinese nation in the classroom of junior high school moral and legal education.The paper,it was systematically elaborated on the connotation,characteristics,and significance of inquiry-based teaching.Based on the application status of inquiry-based teaching,the challenges in its application in the curriculum were further studied,the causes of existing problems were analyzed,and strategies were proposed to overcome them.The suggested strategies included optimizing the creation of inquiry problems,improving teachers’ inquiry teaching ability,optimizing inquiry teaching resources,attaching importance to scientific inquiry activities,optimizing the results of exchange and display,and improving the teaching evaluation mechanism.And the widespread application of inquiry-based teaching was effectively promoted and its important role was highlighted in adapting to the new curriculum reform,integrating teaching materials,improving teachers’ professional quality,and cultivating students’ inquiry abilities. |
