Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2022 edition)points out that compulsory education mathematics curriculum should enable students to form and develop the core literacy needed for future social and personal development through mathematics learning.Core literacy is gradually formed and developed by students in the process of mathematics learning.Different students have different levels of development,which is also the basic basis for formulating curriculum objectives.Therefore,the establishment of primary school mathematics curriculum objectives should be based on the development of students ’ core literacy.The overall teaching of primary school mathematics units is an important way of mathematics education in the compulsory education stage.In order to better implement the core literacy goals,its teaching design and implementation must be based on core literacy to ensure that core literacy is better implemented.In order to get rid of the limitations of fragmented class teaching,many educators are committed to the research of unit overall teaching design and practice.The traditional curriculum goal corresponds to the class teaching,and the core literacy concept advocates the overall teaching of the unit.The overall unit teaching is a structured design and practical activity centered on the core content and focused on the key issues of the unit,which has become a new form of the real landing of core literacy.In order to understand the overall situation of primary school mathematics teachers ’ unit teaching,this paper uses questionnaire survey and interview method to investigate the mathematics teachers of 6 primary schools in Q county.Through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the main problems in the overall teaching of primary school mathematics units are as follows : first,the overall teaching cognition of the unit is not deep enough;second,the overall teaching design of the unit is not reasonable enough;third,the implementation of unit teaching is not sufficient.The main reasons for these problems are : first,teachers do not accurately understand the basic connotation of unit overall teaching;second,teachers are not proficient in the overall teaching design process of the unit;third,teachers have not fully carried out the implementation of unit teaching.In order to improve the overall teaching status of primary school mathematics units,the following countermeasures are recommended : First,in-depth study of curriculum standards to enhance the overall teaching cognitive level of the unit;the second is to grasp the characteristics of core literacy and design a reasonable unit overall teaching plan;third,strengthen the unit overall teaching practice learning,improve the unit overall teaching implementation quality.
