As one of the important methods of traditional reading teaching,the "knowing people and discussing the world" method plays an important role in Chinese language teaching.The "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Full Time Compulsory Education(2022Edition)" clearly requires students to "roughly grasp the poetry,imagine the situation described in poetry,and experience the feelings of the work",The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" also explicitly requires students to "combine their own life experience and reading and writing experience","understand the author’s creative intention",and "be able to appreciate,identify,and evaluate works of different eras and styles".Therefore,as an important component of Chinese language reading teaching,the teaching of new poetry reading cannot be limited to pure language and character appreciation,image and rhetorical analysis,and aesthetic form description.Instead,it must comprehensively consider the deep influence of factors such as the author’s life trajectory,living environment,and era culture,guiding students to deeply explore the individual style,multiple connotations,and subtle charm of new poetry.According to research data,it can be seen that the "knowing people and discussing the world" method has indeed been widely used in the teaching of new poetry reading,but it still exposes two problems: firstly,in the "teaching introduction" stage,there is a phenomenon of mechanically applying the "background+author introduction" mode;The second is the phenomenon of rough connection with the era background and simple reference to life experiences in the "teacher student reading" section.In response to the above teaching issues,the teaching of "knowing people and discussing the world" in reading new poetry can be carried out from three levels: firstly,we should avoid the "collage" style introduction that is vague and generalized,and closely link it with the specific poetry background and creative situation to implement effective "teaching introduction".Secondly,strive to avoid simple "reflection theory of the times" and conduct "detailed reading and analysis" from multidimensional perspectives such as geographical memory,creative psychology,contemporary culture,and foreign influence.Specifically,it includes: 1.capturing geographical memory and focusing on life to express poetic sentiment;2.Identify creative psychology and outline the concept of "poetic eye";3.Perceive the culture of the times and gather "poetic power" in response to the current situation;4.Explore extraterritorial influences and avoid seeking exotic "poetic flavors";5.Carry out thematic teaching to explore differences and clarify the "poetic style".Thirdly,guide students to understand new poetry in the "Understanding People and Discussing the World" expansion activity,including:expanding reading and systematic reading based on poetry selection and appreciation;Conduct a literary geographical examination of the poet’s main living and creative environment.
