| Ancient poetry plays an irreplaceable role in the history of Chinese culture,which is the essence of Chinese culture.Exposed to it frequently,students’ ability of language usage and appreciation can be cultivated.There is no denying that it is also an important carrier for carrying forward and inheriting Chinese traditional culture.What’s more,ancient poetry is regarded as a key and difficult point in Chinese teaching.However,due to its antique feature,there is a huge gap between its background and students’ life now,making students hardly understand its profound thoughts contained in the ancient poetry,which,therefore,requires teachers to shorten the distance between students and the author in the process of teaching.To gain this teaching objective,one of the most effective methods is to encourage students to understand the social background of the author and that of his or her works,that is,to put the method of "knowing the author and judging the world" into practice,which gives rise to the title of this paper,namely,research on the application of "knowing the author and judging the world" when teaching ancient poetry in the middle schools.The introduction mainly introduces the origins,domestic research status,research purpose,research value and research methods as well as its possible innovation.The first part mainly clarifies the meaning of "knowing the author and judging the world" and its relationship with ancient poetry.This paper expounds the meaning and its connotation of "knowing the author and judging the world" which changes from the original way of respecting friends to a method of literary criticism and then to the application of it in the teaching of ancient poetry.The second part analyzes the current situation of the application of "knowing the author and judging the world".Based on the questionnaire and its findings,this paper puts forward the problems of applying "knowing the author and judging the world" into the teaching of ancient poetry,and also makes a detailed analysis of the causes of these problems.Taking into consideration the national requirements and the problems encountered by students and teachers,the third part discusses the necessity of using "knowing the author andjudging the world" in the teaching of ancient poetry in the middle schools by means of explaining the purpose and function of its application.The fourth part focuses on the strategies of application.According to the current situation and necessity of its application,some exploratory opinions are put forward.After analyzing the scope and types of its application,this chapter concludes that the method can be combined with comparative reading method,situational experience method and question seminar method,which is guaranteed by full and accurate case study.Finally,it summarizes the problems that should be paid attention to in the application of the method.On the basis of practical investigation and data analysis,this paper tentatively puts forward the strategy of applying "knowing the author and judging the world" into the teaching of ancient poetry in middle schools.It is hoped that this study can provide reasonable suggestions to solve the problems existing in the teaching of ancient poetry. |
