Abstract/Summary:
It’s required by the "Chinese Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)" that the teaching of classical poetry in junior high school should focus on accumulation,reflection,application,and recitation.In actual teaching activities,teachers will often emphasize the importance of accumulation and recitation,but tend to ignore "reflection" and "application",leading to the junior high school students’ lack of interest in classical poetry.The fusion of horizons theory,proposed by Gadamer,a German philosopher,emphasizes the mutual understanding between readers and texts,and then readers can get a wider and richer horizon than before.Therefore,this paper is intended to explore the teaching strategies of classical poetry based on the fusion of horizons theory.In this way,it is hoped that the teaching of classical poetry will enable students to be moved and inspired,that is,to acquire an insight into their own growth and the meaning of life,and make them really fall in love with classical poetry.Starting from the core concepts and characteristics of the fusion of horizons theory,this paper is to carry out a survey on the current situation of classical poetry teaching for junior high school students,analyze the reasons,and work our teaching strategies for how to promote the student-text horizon fusion.Finally,the strategies proposed in this paper are used for teaching design.The paper is divided into several parts as follows:Chapter one is to describe the origin,significance,status,ideas and methods of the study.Chapter two is to introduce the core concepts and characteristics of the fusion of horizons theory,so as to illustrate the fitting points between the theory and classical poetry teaching.Chapter three is to design a questionnaire based on the fusion of horizons theory,trying to know the status of junior high school students in learning classical poetry through the survey,and analyze the reasons in combination with the case study.Chapter four is to put forward the strategies of classical poetry teaching in junior high schools with the fusion of horizons theory.Based on the fusion of horizons theory and the concept of "improving the situationality and practicality of curriculum implementation" proposed by the new curriculum standard,we work out strategies of junior high school classical poetry teaching on how to promote the student-text horizon fusion as below: Adopt task-driven measures to broaden their historical horizon.Promote reading with writing to build text scene.Simulate interviews to encourage student-text dialogue.Finally,suggestions are put forward on these strategies in the form of case design.
