The outbreak of COVID-19 has brought many challenges to school education and teaching,and put forward higher requirements for students’ self-management ability.The school teaching mode has gradually changed in the post-pandemic era.Teachers cannot supervise students in all aspects,and students need to be their own managers.The repeated changes of the epidemic situation are a great test for the physical and mental development of students.The students in junior high school are in a critical period of growth,and their physical and mental development changes dramatically.They need reasonable guidance from schools,teachers and parents to better develop and improve themselves.This paper is going to study the current situation of junior high school students’ self-management ability in the post-pandemic era,excavate the existing problems and propose solutions.In view of this,this paper selects junior high school students and teachers from two schools in T City as the survey objects,and takes the form of questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current situation of junior high school students’ self-management ability.First of all,on the basis of sorting out the domestic and foreign literature and combining with the research results of other scholars,this paper compiled and carried out the questionnaire from the dimensions of emotion management ability,self-cognition management ability,learning management ability,time management ability and health management ability.At the same time,this paper conducted interviews with junior high school teachers in the two schools as a supplement to the data,so as to understand the data more deeply and analyze the data results.Through research and analysis,it can be seen that there are some problems in junior high school students’ self-management ability,mainly including weak emotional regulation ability,lack of deep self-cognition ability,weak learning management ability,insufficient time planning ability,decreased interpersonal initiative and lack of health awareness.The school’s lack of attention to self-management,the lack of selfmanagement atmosphere in family education and the lack of initiative of junior high school students will affect the cultivation of junior high school students’ selfmanagement ability.This paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures combining the factors of school,teachers,family and individual students to solve the problem of junior high school students’ self-management in the post-epidemic era.It aims to promote the better development of junior high school students’ self-management ability and realize the transformation from heteronomy to self-discipline.
