| The new curriculum standards call for the teaching of physics in senior secondary schools to be aimed at actively developing students’ core literacy in the subject of physics.The 5E teaching model is based on the concept of constructivism,in which students’ curiosity is stimulated through the creation of situations,students participate in inquiry and cooperation to acquire knowledge,and they can use their knowledge to explain and extend their application,and to reflect on themselves in the process of evaluation.Compared with the traditional teaching model,the 5E teaching model has a more scientific design and better meets the needs of the times and the need to enhance students’ core literacy.Physics is an experiment-based subject,but in the actual experimental teaching,the proportion of theoretical lectures is large,neglecting the cultivation and exercise of students’practical hands-on experimental skills,which is not conducive to the enhancement of students’core literacy.Through searching the relevant literature,it is found that to change the status quo of physics education,we need start from the essence of physics,from the transformation of the status of students and teachers in learning,from the different realities of each student,the close integration of experiments and life,living experiments is a very good way.This paper combines the 5E teaching model with Life Experienced-based Teaching and discusses from the perspective of theoretical and practical research how the 5E teaching model can be used to develop students’ key abilities and promote their all-round development through a closed-loop teaching design in high school physics teaching that is close to students’ life situations.The paper uses questionnaires,teacher interviews and case studies to carry out the research.Firstly,the paper defines the concepts of 5E teaching mode and living experiment to provide a theoretical basis for relevant teaching strategies.Secondly,questionnaires were administered to students in two key high schools in Jiangsu Province and Heilongjiang Province to understand students’ learning interests,learning attitudes,physics laboratory teaching methods and school teaching conditions,and to analyze and summarize the common problems.Interviews were then conducted with frontline teachers to understand the current situation of teachers in teaching physics experiments,their understanding of the 5E teaching model and their awareness of teaching in relation to real-life situations.Again,the results of the questionnaire survey and the teacher interviews were combined to propose teaching principles and teaching strategies for the "5E teaching model-based high school physics experimental teaching".Also,for the characteristics of the 5E teaching model,an evaluation scale has been developed as a measurement tool in order to maximize the feedback effect of the evaluation session.The above teaching strategies are then applied to the teaching design of the sections"Circular Motion in Life" and "Single Pendulum" in senior secondary physics,and the detailed process of using the 5E teaching mode to conduct life experienced-based experimental teaching in the process of applying laws and constructing models in senior secondary physics is discussed respectively.Finally,a preliminary teaching practice was carried out based on the case study design,using the chapter "Circular Motion" in High school physics Book Ⅱ as the teaching content,and setting up an experimental class and a control class,both classes are taught by the same teacher,with the control class following the regular teaching model and the experimental classes are based on the 5E teaching model of living experiments.To test the effectiveness of the practice,a pre-test,classroom practice effect analysis and a post-test were conducted in the study to compare and analyze the measured data.The results of the practice showed that after a period of teaching with comparable levels of pre-testing in the experimental and control classes,the mean scores of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class when assessed against the content of the teaching chapters,while the SPSS software was used to analyze that there was a significant difference between the scores of the two classes on the post-test;the data from the evaluation scale revealed that the classroom practice teaching had achieved the desired effect on the students’ evidence This indicates to a certain extent that the "5E-based experimental teaching in high school physics" can help students improve their performance and promote the development of their abilities in various aspects. |
