| In 2017,the biology curriculum standards for senior high schools issued by the Ministry of education put forward the following basic concepts: core literacy as the purpose,content focusing on big concepts,teaching process emphasizing practice,and academic evaluation promoting development.In order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the current education must be improved and reformed.As a new teaching mode,It consists of five parts: engage,explore,explain,elaborate and evaluate.5E Teaching Mode coincides with the basic concept of the new curriculum standard.Therefore,this study attempts to apply 5E Teaching Mode to senior high school biology teaching and pay attention to the cultivation of students’ core literacy.In order to better stimulate students’ interest in learning and connect with life practice in biology classroom,the 5E Teaching Mode in this study will be carried out based on life-based teaching,in order to give better play to the advantages of 5E Teaching mode.Starting from the research status at home and abroad,this study understands the research progress of5 E Teaching Mode and life-oriented teaching through a large number of references.Through the study of constructivist learning theory,meaningful learning theory,cognitive discovery learning theory and Tao Xingzhi’s life education theory,the author’s research ideas are formed on the basis of previous theories.Taking Shihezi H Middle School as an example,this study investigates the current situation of two classes at the same level of senior one through classroom observation,questionnaire survey and teacher interview.After analyzing the survey results,it finds out the existing problems in biology teaching,puts forward improvement plans according to the existing problems,and formulates the teaching principles and teaching strategies of 5E Teaching mode.In order to make the research more valuable,class 7 of senior one of H Middle School is selected as the experimental class and class 10 of senior one as the control class for three months of teaching practice.Taking the compulsory one molecule and cell as an example,the 5E Teaching mode is applied to the teaching practice.After the practice,the practice results are compared and analyzed through performance comparison and student interview to verify the effectiveness of the 5E Teaching Mode in the actual teaching process.Through the analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the integration of life teaching and 5E Teaching mode is feasible;(2)The 5E Teaching Mode Based on life teaching is helpful to stimulate students’ interest in learning;(3)5E Teaching mode can improve students’ inquiry ability;(4)5E Teaching mode can promote students’ achievement.To sum up,the application of 5E teaching mode in high school biology teaching is feasible,which can promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy and the improvement of their practical inquiry ability.At the same time,this study puts forward some suggestions for the application of 5E teaching mode in high school biology teaching,and makes a prospect,hoping to help the promotion of 5e teaching mode. |
