Research On The Teaching Strategies Of High School Physics Experiments Based On Core Physical Literacy

In order to further implement the fundamental task of Lide and educating people,the Ministry of Education issued Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Lide and Educating People in March 2014,and put forward the concept of "core literacy",which also took "core literacy" as the direction and core of education reform.The core quality of physics is the correct values,essential qualities and key abilities that students gradually form in the process of receiving physics education to adapt to their lifelong development and social development.Nowadays,the teaching goal of high school physics has changed from the traditional three-dimensional goal to the core quality of physics suitable for students’ lifelong development.Physics is a subject based on experiment.Physics experiment teaching is an important teaching method to cultivate students’ physics core accomplishment.This study is based on the theory of constructivism and lifelong learning under the core literacy of physics.With the Questionnaire on the Status of High School Physics Experiment Teaching under the Core Literacy as the investigation tool,227 high school students in the A Department of Science of Senior One of Xinzheng No.1 Middle School were randomly selected as the research samples.IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software was used to analyze the collected data,and the survey results showed that there were four problems as follows:(1)45% of students could not use physics knowledge to explain physical phenomena and solve practical problems.(2)49% of students are not capable of scientific reasoning.(3)51% of the students could not ask questions and make guesses and assumptions based on the physical situation.(4)36% of the students could not draw correct physical conclusions according to the experimental data.Based on the concept of physical core literacy,this study proposes the following teaching strategies for cultivating students’ core literacy in view of existing problems:(1)Strategies for cultivating students’ core literacy in physics demonstration experiment: clear demonstration experiment purpose and develop students’ physics concept;Create reasonable physical situation,start students thinking button;Increase equipment innovation,enhance students’ spirit of inquiry;Call for students’ sense of responsibility and cultivate students’ scientific attitude.(2)The strategy of cultivating students’ core accomplishment in the group experiment: experience the process of inquiry personally and cultivate students’ physical concept;Pay attention to familiar with the experimental principle,open the students’ thinking channel;Carefully design experiment scheme to improve students’ inquiry ability;Pay attention to the reflection evaluation,correct students scientific attitude.(3)The strategy of cultivating students’ core accomplishment in extracurricular physics experiment: consolidating the results of classroom experiment and deepening students’ physics concept;Enlighten and guide students to think,broaden their thinking field;Close contact with practical life,cultivate students’ sense of inquiry;Comprehensive consideration of safety factors,enhance students’ scientific responsibility.Combined with the above strategies,three experimental teaching cases of cultivating students’ core literacy,namely,"Newton’s Third Law","force synthesis" and "Experiencing overweight and weightlessness",were designed respectively from physics demonstration experiment,student group experiment and physics extracurricular experiment,and the teaching practice was carried out in Xinzheng No.1 Middle School.Two classes with no significant difference in learning ability were selected as the experimental class and the control class.Traditional physics experiment teaching is carried out for the control class,while physics experiment teaching under the core literacy is proposed for the experimental class.Through practice,it is found that the experimental teaching under the core literacy of physics is better than the traditional experimental teaching,which can better cultivate students’ core literacy of physics.It is hoped that this study can provide teaching reference for high school physics teachers fighting on the front line.
