Since the reform and opening up,the relaxation of registered residence system and the development of market economy have made the nationwide population movement a common phenomenon.With the deepening of urbanization,the floating population has experienced the process of being excluded to "circular flow" and then gradually staying in the inflow area.In the process of building a new type of urbanization,housing is an important material support for the life and development of the floating population,which affects the residence will and migration choice of the floating population.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to investigate the relationship between the dimensions of housing and the residence willingness of the floating population and explore the housing security policies to improve the housing situation of the floating population,so as to orderly promote the in-depth development of the citizenization and urbanization of the floating population in China.Using the method of meta statistical analysis,this paper makes a bias analysis on the collected quantitative research literature at home and abroad,and makes an empirical test on the relationship between the housing factors of the floating population and the willingness to settle down,and the influence mechanism of regulatory factors.Through the main effect analysis,it is found that the ownership of housing property rights,housing quality,housing provident fund and indemnificatory housing of the floating population is significantly positively correlated with their residence intention,while the housing burden is significantly negatively correlated with their residence intention.To further explain the source of heterogeneity,this paper finds that the difference between intergenerational differences and registered residence characteristics will significantly affect the relationship between the dimensions of housing and the settlement intention of migrants.The influence of city size on the relationship between the two parties is only significant.According to the empirical results,starting from all dimensions of housing and combined with the influence of regulatory factors,this paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as improving the payment ability of floating population’s house purchase,optimizing the supporting infrastructure of floating population’s house,building a standardized and market-oriented house rental market,further deepening the reform of housing provident fund system,and establishing a comprehensive and dynamic affordable housing system,hoping to provide reference and suggestions for the high-quality development of new urbanization in China.
