Residence Willingness And Influencing Factors Of Floating Population In Gansu Province

With the development of economy and society,China’s urbanization process has been gradually accelerated,and the urbanization level in China has reached 57.4%by 2016.In the process of urbanization,the population flow and migration is one of the enthusiasm of urbanization development process of thrust,in-depth analysis of the floating population residing in defined the will of the distribution characteristics and influencing factors,starting from the mechanism of action of the main factors,improve the floating population’s long-term residence will,promote its and defined dimensions such as economy,politics,culture and fusion,It has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the subdataset of the dynamic monitoring survey data of the floating population in Gansu Province in 2016 and the composition of ethnic minorities in Gansu Province,this paper makes descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis of specific indicators from the four dimensions of demographic characteristics,mobility characteristics,economic characteristics and social security participation characteristics.Through mergers,variable Settings and data processing and regression model analysis,by using the statistical software,stata16.0 version using binary Logistic regression model of logit regression model,classification,in-depth study to demographic characteristics as control variables,to ethnic identity,flow characteristics,economic characteristics and the causes of social security participation conditions for variable,in the floating population residence intend as outcome variables,the empirical analysis on the influence factors of residence will.The results show that the Han floating population has a higher residence intention in the destination area than the Hui ethnic group.The higher the female,married and educated floating population is,the stronger the residence intention is in the destination area.The floating population with high monthly household income,high monthly household expenditure and self-owned housing is more inclined to stay for a long time.The floating population who participated in the new rural cooperative medical insurance had a lower residence intention,while the floating population who participated in the endowment insurance and established residents’ health records had a higher residence intention.When the flow range is inter-provincial,the floating population’s long-term residence intention is stronger,and when the flow frequency is more,their residence intention is lower.Floating population’s residence will subject to comprehensive factors restrict economic factors is the key to good economic basis is to meet the development of the basic elements of life,defined the cultural environment,political participation,and local residents alignment mentally active fusion,such as material and spiritual satisfaction is the main source of its decisions.According to the research conclusions,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the floating population’s residence intention: First,improve the employment security system of the floating population,and provide services and support for their employment;Second,strengthen the role of community,strengthen the embedded dynamic interaction of floating population;Third,establish and improve the floating population social security system to ensure that their basic needs are met;Fourth,we should respect cultural differences among ethnic groups and enhance exchanges between the floating population and local residents.
