In recent years,various nutritional diseases caused by unhealthy eating habits showing an increasing trend.Under this background,in view of the realistic dilemma faced by primary school students in terms of health,this research analyzed the objectives,ideas,methods and evaluation of food education curriculum on the basis of clarifying the connotation and characteristics of food education,with a view to excavating the content and value of food education curriculum and constructing the food education curriculum system in primary schools.In the meantime,through relevant experimental research,this research also aims to provide substantive guidance and recommendations for the further development and promotion of food education curricula in primary schools.This research covers five parts,Chapter1 is the introduction.Chapter2 is mainly to theoretically analyze the connotative value of food education curriculum.As the foundation and premise of all education.As an educational form that effectively integrates diet with an all-around development of the students in terms of morality,intellect,physical conditions,aesthetic judgment and community service,food education not only involves multi-aspect fields but also constantly aims at promoting physical and mental health and building the perfect personality of individuals.Food education are not simply limited to diet and nutrition,more precisely,it is a kind of human nature education that presents rich sensibility and can bring pleasure and intellectuality to learners.In other words,it is also a kind of education that undertakes folk customs and spirituality,going beyond the category of health.Food education courses are life oriented,human oriented and are diversified.It is of great value in choosing food,sharing food and protecting environment.Chapter3 discusses the content and methods of development of the food education curriculum suitable for primary schools.Specifically,with seeking a healthy life and shaping a sound personality as the basic idea and four dimensions including cognitive goals,ability goals,emotional goals and culture as the hierarchical goals,this part proposes the curriculum content consisting of six modules,including food education based on health+cognition,food education based on nature+life,food education based on appreciation+emotion,food education based on labor+experience,food education based on etiquette+culture and food education based on society+life.Moreover,the teaching methods mainly include the classroom teaching method,operation method and project method.Chapter 4discusses the curriculum experiment of food education and its recommendations.Taking a total of94 third-grade students as the research object,this research adopted the experimental design model of pre-test and post-test in the experimental group and carried out a twelve-week experiment of food education curriculum.From the perspective of qualitative and quantitative evaluation results,the students and parents who participated in the experiment fully affirmed the implementation of the food education curriculum.In particular,the vast majority of students have improved in a range of aspects,including diet cognition and behavior,cultural etiquette and comprehensive literacy.Chapter 5 puts forward targeted countermeasures against the current problems.Specifically,in order to further promote the development and implementation of food education curriculum in primary schools,this research argues that: a)families,schools and communities shall jointly implement the “dietary education system project”;b)constructing a school-based characteristic food education teaching mode;c)strengthening the training of professionals and the construction of teachers,and;d)building a diversified evaluation system of food education curricula.
