Despite the fact that occupational stress is common in all walks of life,heavy occupational stress can not only reduce work efficiency,but also cause serious physical and mental damage to employees’ health.Nurses,working in the front line of medical and health undertakings,often need to undertake heavy work tasks,deal with complex nurse-patient relationship and adapt to the tense work schedule.Hence,relieving the occupational stress of nurses is of great significance to improve the quality of medical and social work services and promote the sound development of medical and health industry.As a relatively mature means of relieving stress,the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Therapy has been widely used in different occupational groups and produced good decompression effects.This essay,according to characteristics of nurses’ occupational stress and their work schedule,tries to use group social work to guide nurses to master the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Therapy in the context of medical social work in the hospital,so as to form a mechanism for nurses to deal with occupational stress.Compared with previous studies on occupational stress of nurses from macro perspectives such as policies or institutions,this study is a practical study aimed at helping oncology nurses master decompression methods and improve their ability to resist stress,with strong operability and quick effect.With cognitive behavioral theory as the framework of practical intervention and MBSR as the practical intervention method,a targeted group program was designed to intervene the occupational stress of the service objects.Based on this,this study relied on the decompression group activity of "Counseling and Decompression,Coagulation and Strength" of oncology nurses in the First Thoracic Department of H Provincial Cancer Hospital and medical Social Work Department,and 9 nurses in the first Thoracic Department were selected as the service objects of this group to carry out a 3-month practical study.Through qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data and relevant statistical analysis and summary,the purpose is to explore whether MBSR can effectively relieve occupational stress of oncology nurses and form a long-term mechanism.Group practice shows that group work service with MBSR as intervention method can effectively relieve occupational stress of oncology nurses.According to the pre-and post-test data of the perceived stress scale and the Mindfulness scale,the stress level and mindfulness level of the group members were significantly improved after participating in the MBSR group activities,which affirmed the effectiveness of the MBSR group in relieving occupational stress of oncology nurses.Member satisfaction feedback form,group effect follow-up interviews analysis results show that after 2 months after the group activities,members of cognition,emotion and behavior changes have taken place in the larger,relative and activities involved in occupational stress before at a lower level,which proves that mindfulness decompression method of decompression therapy as a system,the effect of decompression with sustainability.In addition,this study also analyzed the mechanism of MBSR in alleviating occupational stress of nurses,which mainly includes the following aspects: First,from the cognitive level,it helps nurses to change wrong cognition,build confidence,face pressure and difficulties in a more flexible way,and enhance their ability to deal with pressure.Second,from the emotional level,the ability of oncology nurses to identify and control negative emotions should be improved,and the impact of negative emotions on cognition and behavior should be reduced.Thirdly,at the behavioral level,oncology nurses are encouraged to take positive actions to change irrational behaviors and effectively alleviate interpersonal conflicts and nurse-patient conflicts.to expand the medical affair social work service object and the application scope of mindfulness decompression therapy is of great significance and value.
