On February 12 2020,the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance issued the Notice on Several Measures to Improve the Working Conditions of Front-line Medical Personnel and Effectively Care for the Physical and Mental Health of Medical Personnel, pointing out that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, medical staff have faced heavy work tasks and infectious winds.Difficulties such as high risk, limited working and rest conditions, and high psychological pressure.Protecting and caring for medical personnel is an important guarantee to win the battle against the epidemic.Medical staff should not only bear physical fatigue caused by high-intensity work, but also social and family responsibilities. Therefore,it is very necessary to take action to intervene in theoccupational pressure of medical staff. On the basis of consulting relevant literature and materials, this study sorts out the articles on the occupational pressure of medical staff at home and abroad to understand the latest results and research content. On this basis, under the guidance of Maslow’s demand hierarchy theory, social support network theory, advantage perspective theory and career planning theory, field investigation is carried out.In the study, the medical staff of a second-class hospital in W City were selected as the survey subjects, and a self-made questionnaire was used to understand the self-assessment stress situation of the medical staff in the hospital, the causes of stress and the social support network. In addition, nonstructural interviews were adopted to select seven medical staff from different departments, ages and working years to understand the specific occupational stress types faced by medical staff. The results show that the medical staff in the hospital are consciously under great pressure, and the main occupational pressure they face can be summarized as the pressure of social expectations, the pressure of multiple roles, the pressure of doctor-patient relationship, and the pressure of career promotion.Among the medical staff who participated in the interview, the author chose a medical staff with relatively great professional pressure and a strong willingness to change to carry out casework.Through the six steps of casework acceptance, estimation, planning, intervention, evaluation and closure of casework,it can relieve the occupational pressure of clients and enable them to face patients and difficulties encountered at work in a full working state. And in the process of intervention, clients can take their own way of stress relief according to their own situation to relieve professional stress and help others help themselves. Finally,it summarizes and reflects on the effectiveness of intervention, and puts forward specific suggestions from the perspective of social workers to alleviate the professional pressure of medical staff from the four perspective of social workers: society, hospitals, medical staff and social workers,so as to provide corresponding reference for social workers in other practical exploration.
