Labor education is an important grip to cultivate qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism who develop morally,intellectually,physically and aesthetically.Standing in a new historical orientation,labor education should be studied under the guidance of Marxist view of labor and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era,and be new and advanced in accordance with the situation.This study starts from sorting out the functional evolution of labor education in colleges and universities in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,focuses on analyzing the functional embodiment of labor education in colleges and universities in the New Era,and establishes the target orientation of labor education in colleges and universities from the perspective of pedagogy.Based on the empirical investigation and supported by real data,the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of labor education in the New Era,and analyzes the shortcomings of labor education and the internal and external factors.Finally,based on the new requirements for labor education in the New Era,we implement the documentary spirit and important instructions of the Party and the state on the construction of labor education in colleges and universities in the New Era,and put forward the requirements and response strategies for the realization of labor education functions in colleges and universities in the New Era.The main content of the thesis has four parts.The third chapter mainly classifies the main functions of labor education in colleges and universities in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China into political service function,talent cultivation function and comprehensive education function based on the transformation of social contradictions,the needs of social and economic development and the individual needs of labor education to promote the all-round development of human beings.On this basis,chapter 4 establishes that the main functions of labor education in colleges and universities in China in the New Era include social development functions based on political,economic,cultural,social and ecological functions,and socialization,personalization and enjoyment of individuals based on the overall layout of "five-in-one" of the country and the new requirements for labor education in the New Era.The main functions of labor education in China’s New Era include social development functions,which are political,economic,cultural,social and ecological functions,and individual development functions,which are individual socialization individual personalization and individual enjoyment.Based on the pedagogical theory,the three main educational objectives of labor education in the New Era are cognitive field,emotional field and motor skill field.On the basis of establishing the orientation and objectives of labor education in the New Era,Chapter 5 empirically analyzes the realization of labor education in the New Era,investigates and analyzes the effectiveness of labor education in the three levels of students’ value formation,comprehensive development and moral education,and analyzes the problems from internal and external factors,which establishes the basis for the thesis of this paper.Under the conditions supported by the above empirical research and real data,Chapter 6 takes the six levels of strengthening the leadership of the party committee,grasping the purpose of labor education and insisting on ideological leadership as the requirements for the realization of the function of labor education in colleges and universities,and on this basis,the six aspects of establishing the correct concept of labor education,improving the curriculum system of labor education and innovating the practice of labor education are precisely applied to provide the future development of labor education in colleges and universities in the New Era.This will provide thoughts for the future development of labor education in colleges and universities in the New Era. |
