Research On Community Care Service For Disabled Elderly ——Take Wuhan D District As An Example

As the main mode of social work,community care is also an important part of social workers’ work in the community.Through the provision of community care services,social workers in the field of disabled elderly care play an irreplaceable role and play an important role as resource link and policy advocate.However,in the current real life,there is still a big gap between the supply level of community care services and the complex and changeable care needs of disabled elderly.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to improve the disabled elderly community care and improve the quality of care services from the perspective of social work,in order to find a solution to the contradiction between supply and demand of disabled elderly community care.Under the guidance of community care theory and welfare pluralism theory,this study uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and case interview to investigate the current situation of disabled elderly community care services in Wuhan District D.through the relevant data collected in the research,the basic situation of disabled elderly in the community is analyzed by descriptive statistics The needs of disabled old people in life care,medical care and spiritual culture are met.Based on the binary logistic regression analysis of the factors influencing the demand of community care services for the disabled elderly,the paper finds that the supply of community care services for the disabled elderly has strong dependence on the government,single source of funds,insufficient motivation for the introduction of social work professionals,imperfect community infrastructure,single service content and social organization Problems such as insufficient force participation.This paper studies the demand and supply of disabled elderly community care services,and makes a profound case study of social work involved in disabled elderly community care services.On this basis,because social work has the service specialty and diversity in the community care service for the disabled elderly,it can reduce the pressure of the government and the family to provide for the aged,effectively integrate the resources in the community and conform to the traditional moral and cultural concept of our country.According to the characteristics of the individual difference of the disabled elderly,this paper proposes to intervene the community care service for the disabled elderly by case work.Through the analysis,it is found that case work can effectively meet the needs of the disabled elderly in the community care services.This paper draws the following conclusions: on the one hand,the disabled elderly’s demand for community care services shows obvious structural differences and is affected by many factors;on the other hand,the effectiveness of multi-agent community care services is insufficient,and the participation of social workers in community care services for the disabled elderly is not strong.According to this,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions:（1）increase the government investment,establish long-term care insurance system;（2）increase the introduction of social work professionals in the community;（3）improve the community infrastructure,increase the service content of community care;（4）accelerate the training of social organizations,improve the professionalism of community care services for the disabled elderly;（5）integrate into case management Practice mode,improve the scientificity of social work intervention method.
