With the advancement of urban modernization,community participation has long been a new theme and driving force of Community construction in China.As a part of community participation,volunteer service is an important way to improve community identity and happiness.At present,the number of young elderly in China’s elderly population accounts for nearly half of the proportion,a large number of young retirees returning to the community,healthy,experienced and skilled,high enthusiasm,has a good participation conditions.How to better explore the potential of the young elderly and bring their social value into full play is a challenge that community builders need to face.Based on the advantage perspective theory,this paper went deep into the communities where volunteers live and used participatory observation and semi-structured interview as tools to collect research data.Elderly volunteer service based on L street corner and demand analysis,through the link to the advantage of community resources and mining young man volunteered advantage,design a series of group work,social workers target respectively in each group activities to activate volunteer motivation,deepen the volunteer leader consciousness,acquisition skills and enhance led the confidence,to promote team members of volunteer service ability,achieve the goals of volunteer leadership development.After testing the group members before and after and comprehensive evaluation of the group in the later stage,this paper concluded that the professional method of group work can effectively cultivate young elderly volunteer leaders.After summarizing and reflecting the research,three suggestions are put forward to cultivate community volunteer leaders:strengthening the family support of volunteers,perfecting the feedback mechanism of volunteer participation and promoting the linkage of multiple participants in the community.The development of this young elderly volunteer leader training group is a process of practical exploration,and there are still some deficiencies,which need to be further explored and improved.
