Research On Social Work Intervention Of Young Volunteers’ Community Volunteer Service Ability Enhancement

As the country attaches importance to grassroots governance,voluntary service has been developing rapidly at present.As an innovative way to govern communities,voluntary service can help communities solve various problems in the process of internal autonomy and development,and is a helpful helper to assist the government in maintaining social stability and harmony.At the same time,China’s large number of youth volunteers,community volunteer service is an important service field,they however most youth volunteer in community service in the process of professional is insufficient,it is difficult to maximize the effect of community volunteer service,so it is necessary through professional means to promote youth volunteer community volunteer service ability.Social work undertakes the function of serving the society,can use its professional methods to promote the development of community volunteer service,social workers and volunteers to unite is an effective way to govern the community.Taking S Community in Wuhan as an example,this paper investigates the basic situation of the community and the development of volunteer service through observation,interview and questionnaire,combining the empowerment theory and the perspective of advantage,so as to understand the service level of young volunteers,and intervene them through the combination of group work and community work.To volunteer in community service in the process of self awareness,volunteer service values is not sound,lack of communication skills,activity of lack of capacity for independent design and carry out the design team work intervention programme,emphatically promote youth volunteer service capacity in this regard,strengthen their grasp of the community volunteer service knowledge and skills,And lead volunteers to analyze community problems and residents’ needs,independently design and carry out community volunteer service activities,and practice the knowledge and skills of volunteer service acquired in group work.After the intervention,the team work process and result evaluation,and analysis the effect of community service activities,found that youth volunteer community volunteer service ability has improved.These volunteers have brought a variety of high-quality services for residents,promoted the spread of volunteer service spirit in the community,attracted more young volunteers to join,promoted the growth of volunteer service team,made a certain contribution to grassroots community governance and construction,and then proved that the professional method of social work is effective in improving the community volunteer service ability of young volunteers.
