The cultivation of innovative talents is a very urgent problem and a weak link in the process of education reform in our country,and it is also the key to support the great rejuvenation of China.Design thinking is a set of theoretical system that integrates people-oriented thinking and innovative problem solving.So far,a systematic system of concepts,methods and tools has been formed,which is conducive to cultivating students’ innovative ability.Integrating design thinking with curriculum teaching is an important trend in the training of innovative talents in the future.Preliminary research has found that design thinking has formed a systematic concept,model and tool,which can provide guidance for curriculum teaching innovation.,While if we want to promote the in-depth reform of teaching and learning,the end-result is the design and implementation of learning activity.Therefore,this study conducts research on college curriculum teaching guided by design thinking,exploring the framework,strategies and practical cases of related learning activity design,to promote the deep integration of design thinking and curriculum teaching in the cultivation of innovative talents.Based on the above background,the core research question of this research is: How can we deeply integrate the relevant concepts,processes and methods of design thinking to carry out the design of learning activities,and it can promote the reform of curriculum teaching and the cultivation of innovative talents? The problem can be further divided into three sub-problems:(1)What is the general process followed in the design of learning activities guided by design thinking? How to test and verify the effectiveness of design thinking applied to curriculum teaching?(2)Combined with the undergraduate course in Educational Technology "Online Course Design and Development",how effective is the implementation of learning activities under the guidance of design thinking?(3)In order to deeply implement design thinking in teaching,what strategies,tools and methods are needed in each stage of teaching development?Aiming at the above research questions,under the guidance of "Innovative Curriculum Design Model and Principles","Learning Activity-Centered Instructional Design Model" and "Project-Based Learning Theory",this research focuses on the following three stages :1.Research on the construction of the design concept model of learning activities under the guidance of design thinking: Through the analysis of "the connotation,essential characteristics,models and tools of design thinking","the connotation,components,design principles and strategies of learning activities","the integration of design thinking into curriculum teaching at home and abroad","the evaluation of design thinking education application",the concept model of learning activity design under the guidance of design thinking is initially constructed,and the relevant principles and general process of learning activity design are clarified.2.Course teaching practice and action research based on design thinking in the context of informatization: Learning activities of the undergraduate course "Online Course Design and Development" were designed.A systematic learning activity plan was generated,and action research was carried out,following the whole process of teaching practice,using a variety of data collection methods,collecting a large amount of procedural,resultant and reflective data,and at last the author analyzed design thinking activities systematicly from four dimensions:design process,design results,thinking and ability,cognition and attitude.3.Research on the strategies of learning activities design and implementation under the guidance of design thinking: On the basis of the research in the previous two stages and the analysis of teaching practice and effectiveness,the design model of learning activities under the guidance of design thinking is further developed.And then the author summarizied the relevant strategies,tools and methods of learning activity design and implementation.The research constructed a model of learning activity design and implementation under the guidance of design thinking to deeply explain the stages and processes of learning activity design and implementation,the key points and methods of operation and the in-depth integration of the core characteristics of design thinking in the course teaching.The study found that from the perspective of learning activities,curriculum teaching innovation guided by design thinking is a systematic project,which includes not only the overall design and reconstruction at the macro level,but also the in-depth application of related concepts and methods at the micro operation level.The model divides the design and implementation of learning activities guided by design thinking into five stages: the design of goals and innovative projects,the design of content and activity chains,the design of specific activities and guidance,the implementation of learning activities,and the evaluation of activity effect.Goals and innovative project design is the core.It is necessary to reconstruct the course goals according to the characteristics of design thinking and carry out innovative project design around real problems.Content and activity chain design is the key point.It is necessary to gather four steps(which is “ define the problem to gather inspiration”,“conceive the solution design prototype”,“iteratively modify the output product” and “use the improvement to evolve and develop”)to reconstruct the content system of the course and carry out the design of the activity chain of the whole course.Specific activities and guiding design are the starting points.In order to implement design thinking into details,it is necessary to carefully design the goals,time,steps and feedback of each activity,and fully integrate the tools,methods and activity samples of design thinking.Implementation is the guarantee,and it is necessary to form an environment and atmosphere that integrates internal and external course,internal and external group,and in-depth interaction between teachers and students.The evaluation of the effect of activities is the key,and it needs to be carried out from four dimensions: design process,design results,thinking and ability,cognition and attitude.The characteristics of design thinking(systematic,openness,empathy,socialization,iterative and visual)run through each step.However,because of the different emphases of different solutions,there are certain differences in the core characteristics of design thinking.Action research found that the design and implementation of learning activities integrated with design thinking have achieved good results:(1)Help learners implement the user-centered design concept,and the practice process is more in-depth;(2)Help learners make consistent designs in line with user characteristics,and the final design results are more systematic,empathetic,visualized and iterative;(3)Promote learners’ creative thinking,empathic thinking,problem-solving ability and teamwork ability and other advanced levels,the development of thinking ability,which can promote the cultivation of innovative talents;(4)Promote the cognitive development of learners in many aspects such as the knowledge of the course itself and collaborative learning,and helps learners achieve their learning expectations;(5)Activity design and implementation gain high recognition and evaluation of learners: learners believe that this course has a good learning experience,a strong sense of teaching presence,and a high sense of personal participation and acquisition;(6)The basic,advanced,and ideological and political goals of the course are highly achieved.Through action research and practical reflection,this research proposes strategies for the design and implementation of learning activities under the guidance of design thinking.(1)Promote students’ design thinking and innovation ability through project-based group collaborative learning;(2)Develop systematic learning activity plans to provide students with clear guidance and improve the efficiency and quality of activities;(3)Carry out the blended learning that integrates online and offline cource,make full use of class time for sufficient interaction and sharing;(4)Organize flexible multi-level exchanges inside and outside the group and between teachers and students to promote creative sharing and inspire design inspiration;(5)Maintain a relatively consistent activity process to adapt to different types of learners and design processes;(6)Focus on the core characteristics of design thinking integrated in different stages,and promote the deep integration of design thinking and activities.The innovations of this research are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:(1)Constructed the design and implementation model of learning activities guided by design thinking;(2)Refined the strategies of learning activity design and implementation guided by design thinking;(3)Generated course cases that deeply integrates design thinking and higher education,provide guidance for related practices.
