Under the background of the new era,high school ideology and political teaching is facing the dilemma of reform.The problem chain teaching method takes the problem chain as a carrier,which is conducive to the implementation of the core qualities of the subject and promotes the mutual growth of teachers and students’ teaching.The effective use of the problem chain teaching method in high school politics teaching is of great significance to improve the current situation of classroom teaching.The problem chain teaching method focuses on the design of problems and the logic between problems and questions and is characterized by the directivity of teaching objectives,the discursive nature of teaching content,the interactive nature of the teaching process,and the democratic nature of the teaching atmosphere.The use of the problem chain teaching method in high school ideology and politics is based on constructivist theory and deep learning theory,the guidance of the assessment system of the college entrance examination,the physical and mental development characteristics of high school students,the basic concepts of the curriculum standards and the mature information technology,which provide a practical basis for the use of the problem chain teaching method.Based on this,the principles and general process of using the problem chain teaching method are explored.At present,the use of the problem chain teaching method has achieved certain results.The use of the problem chain teaching method has increased students’ enthusiasm for learning,improved the classroom teaching atmosphere,and most teachers have begun to attach importance to the design of problem chains.However,due to the lack of professionalism of some teachers,the constraints of the current concept of examoriented education,and the lack of case studies of problem chain teaching,there are problems in the application of problem chain sets that are not reasonable and effective,problem chain situation creation that needs to be optimized,problem chain teaching process that is not perfect and problem chain teaching evaluation system that is not scientific,which to a certain extent restrict the effectiveness of problem chain teaching.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes of the problem chain teaching,to use the problem chain teaching method more effectively,we must first improve the conditions for the use of the problem chain teaching method,then further enhance the level of problem chain design,further optimize the creation of problem chain situations,further improve the problem chain teaching process,and further improve the evaluation of problem chain teaching.Only in this way can the value of problem chain teaching method be highlighted in a comprehensive,deep,and multi-angle manner,and a new path is opened up for the quality and efficiency of high school ideological and political teaching.
