The 2017-edition(2020 revision)General High School Geography-Curriculum Standards state that the development of local school-based curricula is encouraged to meet student interests and individual development needs.In 2019,the new High School Geography Textbook of Hunan Edition was published with the new curriculum standards,and Guizhou Province planned to begin to use the new geography textbook in the fall semester of 2021.Before the new textbook was used,the author had begun to study the new curriculum standards and new textbook.Qianling Mountain is a comprehensive field investigation base in Guiyang City,less than one kilometer away from the author’s school.Under the guidance of the Guiyang Municipal Education and Scientific Research Project Practical Research on Improving Field Investigation Ability of High School Geography Teachers in Subject Bases,and combined with the actual geography teaching in Guiyang No.37 high School,the author decided to carry out a gradual and in-depth school-based curriculum research on the topic of "Geography of Qianling Mountain",in order to make up for the deficiency of unified curriculum,improve the school’s school-based geographycurriculum system mechanism,enhance teachers’ professional ability,and cultivate students’ all-round core literacy.This paper conducts research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and experience summary.Firstly,literature analysis is used to determine the research background,significance and research status of the development of school-based curriculum,so as to determine the research objectives,research technology routes and research methods of this paper.It was found through questionnaire survey and interview that the student base is relatively weak,which requires for basic and interesting geography classrooms.How to simplify the textbook knowledge and make it more interesting is a problem to be solved in the development of the school-based curriculum.Students and teachers both have higher expectations for geographical investigation and geographical experiments,so how to add geographical investigation and geography experiments to the school-based curriculum is a problem to be solved.The school has always had disadvantages of insufficient resources and low development efforts in the development of the school-based curriculum,but the school has high expectations for the development of school-based curriculum,so how to mobilize the team to develop the school-based curriculum is a problem to be solved.In order to be able to develop the school-based curriculum on the basis of the new curriculum standards and new textbook,the author analyzed the Hunan Edition High School Geography Compulsory Textbook and found that the new textbook fully reflects the four core literacies of geography in the new curriculum standards,and it is particularly important to infiltrate the four major geography core literacies in the school-based curriculum.The new textbook is rich in content and wide in knowledge,and the school-based curriculum should penetrate the cases around students to help them understand.The new textbook also has the characteristics of chapter preface and role play.On the basis of these problems,the geographical resources of Qianling Mountain were integrated to determine the content of the school-based curriculum.The teacher team was cooperated for discussion and study,practices and tests were conducted,comprehensive expert opinions were heard,and the school-based curriculum was polished for many times.This paper synthesizes the entire development process of school-based curriculum,summarizes experience and makes strategic suggestions,and puts forward three aspects of school-based curriculum development strategy:(1)Development strategy based on the school situation: selecting the geographical resources around the school and emphasizing the fun;developing geographical investigation and geography experimental courses,and fully combine the school culture and characteristics.(2)Development strategy based on the textbook: studying the geography textbook in depth;and taking the four core geographical literacies as the core objectives and evaluation principles.(3)School-based curriculum development strategy based on improving the professional quality of teachers: conducting more in-depth communication with experts and applying educational theories.In order to better display the research results of school-based curriculum,the two cases of Water in Qianling Mountain and "Love" and "Annoyance" of Wild Macaques are displayed,and the teaching design and teaching evaluation of Qianling Mountain hydrology investigation are displayed.The development of the "Geography of Qianling Mountain" school-based curriculum is expected to provide ideas for relevant researchers to further study the new textbook and new curriculum standards,and also provide reference at some extent for geography teachers to develop the school-based curricula.
