In recent years,with the call of cultural self-confidence,protection and inheritance of Chinese outstanding traditional culture,how to let more people understand the outstanding traditional culture and establish a sense of protection and inheritance had become a hot topic.As an important place for cultural inheritance and innovations,the school was increasing the infiltration of the outstanding traditional culture in teaching.As an important part of the traditional culture of our country,the distinctive culture of our country’s various races is the crystallization of wisdom of our country’s people in different history.It is full of creation,with a certain scientific,aesthetic and historical and cultural value.Therefore,many scholars and education workers under the guidance of the fundamental task of establishing moral ethics and raising people,Based on the education benefits of the minority culture,he discussed the methods to integrate it into the school education.However,there were not many relevant studies,and compared with Chinese,ideological and political,music and other subjects,there were less relevant studies on the application of the minority culture in the geographical teaching.In a word,this article chose the Dong culture of Western Hunan as the research object.After the on-the-spot investigation of the Dong’s food culture of Western Hunan and other cultural events,the cultural resources library of the Dong’s in Western Hunan was established,and the development principles,forms and procedures of the Dong’s cultural in Western Hunan and geographical teaching resources were established.Moreover,it was necessary to discuss the application of the Dong culture of Western Hunan in the high school teaching.(1)On the basis of existing research both domestically and internationally,literature and materials related to minority culture,multicultural education,and the development of geography curriculum resources were organized.Existing research results were sorted out,and concepts of "ethnic culture","cultural resources","the cultural resources of the Dong ethnic group in Western Hunan",and "geography curriculum resource development" were defined.Multicultural education theory,constructivism learning theory,and The theoretical foundation of this article is based on the theories of life education and geography curriculum resource development.(2)Analyzing the high school geography curriculum standards,Hunan edition of geography textbooks,and Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan,by analyzing the compatibility between the high school geography curriculum standards and Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan,it is found that the application of Dong cultural resources of Western Hunan in high school geography teaching is beneficial for cultivating students’ core geographical elements,promoting their comprehensive development,and enhancing their cultural confidence;By analyzing the correspondence between the geography textbooks published by Hunan Education Press and Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan,it is found that the food culture,clothing culture,festival culture and ancient village culture of the Dong ethnic group in Western Hunan are closely related to the local geographical environment.It can be seen that the Dong culture in Western Hunan has high educational and geographical teaching value,and it is feasible to develop it as a high school geography curriculum resource.(3)This article constructs the development principles,forms,and processes of teaching resources for the cultural geography of the Dong ethnic group of Western Hunan,based on the content of the Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan,the characteristics of the geography discipline,and the laws of geography teaching.This study establishes the principles of scientificity,geography,operability,and objectiveness as guidance,with the aim of serving as classroom teaching materials,conducting extracurricular practical activities,and preparing high school geography test questions as formal guidance.The general process involves exploring cultural construction resource banks,analyzing curriculum standards and textbook selection resources,and selecting form design cases.The aim is to provide theoretical guidance for subsequent resource development and application.(4)Analyze the Hunan edition of Geography Compulsory 2 textbook,explore the integration points between the textbook and the Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan,and propose implementation suggestions for the listed integration points.Finally,some integration points were selected,and according to the established development principles,forms,and processes,classroom introductions,classroom teaching cases,practical activities,and exercises were designed.(5)Selecting relevant introductions,teaching cases,and exercises to carry out the teaching practice of the section "Regional Culture and Urban Rural Landscape",it was found that the cultural resources of the Dong ethnic group’s culture of Western Hunan have certain geographical teaching benefits.However,in teaching,attention should be paid to problems such as obstacles to students’ understanding of relevant geographical knowledge due to lack of understanding of the culture.
