With the rapid development of the information age,computational thinking has become one of the indispensable information literacy for K12 learners.Nowadays,countries around the world have taken the cultivation of computing thinking as the focus of the strategic system of strengthening the country with talents,and it has become a new trend to explore the teaching methods of cultivating computing thinking from the stage of basic education.Based on "learning by doing",innovative education theory and constructivist learning theory,this study studies the following three problems:(1)how to promote pupils’ Computational Thinking Ability;(2)How to determine the teaching content of cultivating the ability of Computational Thinking;(3)The teaching practice effect of cultivating students’ Computational Thinking is studied.51 students from an experimental class of a primary school in Nanchang are selected to carry out the information technology course based on the five-dimensional framework of Computational Thinking ISTE and the teaching content of scartch programming software,combined with the teaching mode of maker concept.The teaching practice effect is evaluated through the pre-test and post-test data and interview results of the experimental subjects’ scale.The results show that:(1)based on the concept of maker education,the links of work design,work production and teacher-student summary in teaching design can improve students’ computing thinking ability,which is reflected in the five-dimensional ability of students’ computing thinking ISTE.(2)The analysis of interviews with learners shows that compared with the traditional primary school information technology curriculum,learners prefer the information technology classroom teaching method based on the concept of maker education.The training mode of cultivating primary school students’ computing thinking based on the concept of maker education and the corresponding teaching design and practice proposed in this study are relatively innovative measures,which is of great significance to the teaching design research of information technology teachers to improve primary school students’ computing thinking in the future.
